COSTS of Medical Appointment for AOS

Does anyone have a rough idea how much the medical exam and vaccines are going to cost? I called a community clinic and they said $85, but I am not sure they understood what I was talking about because when I called another clinic they said it was going to be about $320. Is that including the shots?

I am so confused. AND I dont even know what is going to happen at the appointment.

BTW I am already in California adjusting status, so this is for USA appointment prices.

Any kinda feedback would be much appreciated!

My medical was in Minneapolis a month ago. I payed 242$ for exam, blood tests and TB test. I received MMR and tetanus shots which were FREE of charge (not included in the price of the exam). I did get price list for all the shots, but by law they are free for green card applicants if they don't have insurance. Make sure you ask about that.

Regular prices were 15 and 45 for what I got, plus they charge fee for service of giving you shots (!), that is about 12$ each. I had a positive test because I received BCG so I did X-ray which costs 62$.

Prices are different everywhere, but at least you get the picture. They did all my blood tests the same day and read TB test after 2 days and within a week I had the results in my mailbox.

Oh, and since I didn't have any immunisation records, they believed my word that I had chickenpox as a child. I didn't want to get any more shots that I absolutely had to.

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.

I paid here in NJ $200 for a complete medical. I gave in my vaccination record so I just had my blood taken and the the TB exam.

If anyone lives here in NJ: Go to Paterson its cheap, nice and the examiner is really nice.

Don't let the choices chose you, chose the choices that you want.
