I thought some of you might like to see how much gas prices vary by state and county. Here is a great map to see the differences:

http://www.gasbuddy.com/gb_gastemperaturemap.aspx

It is amazing the difference in prices even in states right next to each other!

Why is California all red? They have the highest state tax on gasoline.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

I never figured that out either unless it just has to do with profits (which I am sure plays some part).

Here we are between $4.35 and $4.55 depending on where you purchase it. But the most expensive gas consistently is directly across the highway from its own refinery... What is up with that???

We may have an oil crisis down the road, but there is no real crisis right now, only greed driving the price of oil...

After looking at that site...

Funny how us on the West coast have the highest prices... Why do you think that is..?? It's not the road tax, fuel tax, I think its just greed.....

Funny how you hear that the price of crude went up while you were asleep, and by the time you drive past you local station the price has already gone up, but yet the crude that they were talking about on the radio or news has not even been exported from the source, nor has it been refined yet...

In the same... I hear that the price went down for two days, but did the price go down as quickly.. NO it went up yet still... I hope the oil companies choke on all the money there making.. And yes I do also know that it's due to the falling U.S. dollar.

OK so how do we make the dollar worth more again..?? Basic economics anyone..??

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
