It's strange that they will not send me Packet 3 anymore. Maybe it's because i called them because they were able to send my packet 3. But the lady ssaid i won' tbe needing that anymore. I just need to download some documents in the website.

Well as far as i know USE-Phils dont have packets to send out...Go to US website and download DS forms.

And pay your delbros right away to avoid delays of your visa.

I think it's random. Because my friend. She received her Packet 3 in mail through DHL. But I called the embassy and I think they haven't sent it out yet.

Oh yes! Definitely... I've been at home since friday and never been out at all. I keep on reading everything to get myself ready and gather every documents I'll be needing and compile them soon. I'm using flexible binder so it will be easier for me to grab.

It's only 3 weeks left and I feel like it's not enough time.. Lol! I need to attemd CFO, need to check my health this week see my doctor. Just making sure I'm really fine when I get to Manila for medical examination. Oh so much to do! I'm still searching for the nearest hotel that I could find that's near to my medical examination area.

I was even thinking of changing my interview date at least for 1 more week. I'm still thinkin about it.

You may need to talk to your fiance about it if he can gather his stuff on time. It is always better if you have fully prepared for the interview. Btw I got my visa on hand yesterday. Now I can finally believe I really got approved hehe!!

first of all CONGRATS to everyone who's been moving! i can feel your happiness and excitement.

im looking for advice. im getting worried about our status......we got our NOA1 on april 28 and are still waiting on our NOA2. Of the last 20 K-1 NOA2s , 12 applied AFTER we did. is something wrong or am i jumping the gun? im starting to stress!! we have been tentatively planning to see each other in october, a reward after another 3 months apart. we thought we would be having the interview by then, and i kept my work schedule clear. but if it takes about one month to go from NVC to interview....this is starting to look really bad!! what if i get an interview date around thanksgiving--im working the day before and day after and it will be so impossible to get the day off!!

We been approved Aug. 4 and till now we dont have interview sched yet. Patienlly waiting!!!!

Can any tell me...im adopted and have never had or been asked to use my birth certificate as my adoption certificate is all i have and has been fine!

Can i use this for interview? im puzzled because on the us embassy website it states a list of documentation where both birth and adoption certficate are listed.

Ive been issued two J1 visas from the us embassy before using my adoption certificate but im thinking because this is a more important visa for immigration they might be more strict..

what do you guys think?

Hi all!!

So while I was at work today I got a call saying my wedding gown and veil that I ordered was in. So excited to try it on!

When I got home today, I checked my e-mail and...we got the interview date!!!! :joy:

It's October 7-two weeks from today. I am freaking out and so excited!

I know they say not to buy tickets, make plans, etc., but really? Should we get a plane ticket soon? Can I start planning a wedding now at least lol??

I almost feel like if I start doing these things I may jinx it or something, but again, we don't have crazy circumstances so I think I am probably just being paranoid...?

How is everyone doing? Any progress??

I'm not sure, but I'm sure am happy as hell that we've been approved! It's been a long time coming too, with a lot of hardships in between. After all, which long-distance relationship is void of hardships?

Wow!!!That was fast!!! Well difinitely start with the wedding plans. We did ours (wedding plans)two months ago unfurtunately until now no interview sched yet.
