Hmmmm.... April K-1 filers at CSC must be very shy about posting

Thought I'd post again and see if any movement has begun for anyone. I have noticed that the K-3's seem to be moving much faster than K-1's. Maybe the pace will start to pickup :innocent:

CSC filer here!

I received the NOA1 on April 1, some 120 days ago. My USCIS status page shows my I29f is still untouched. I'm guessing at an early September NOA2, but I won't be surprised if it takes a bit longer. I'll post here if anything develops.

Wow! Seems CSC is really catching up to Vermont these days. We sent our petition to Vermont on 4/15 / noa1 4/23... and we're still waiting. :(

I've been here for some time now and the disparity between the two centers has always bothered me...so much so I wrote my reps. It's wonderful seeing CSC process applications at the same pace... even if it means we've been waiting longer. ;) congratulations to you all. :)

Angel.. this link should help you. ;)

Thank you, KimandRuss... It helped me for sure. :-)

Erm, I only see a few purples, and that's because I clicked on their profile. In many browsers if you click on a link the color will change next time you see it to alert you that you've visited it before.

Anyways, congrats to the several April filers, and looking forward to you guys having a speedy approval rate.:dance:

Hi to everyone!!!

I was just thinking about how everyone must be keeping themselves busy to pass the time and wondering if you wanted to share with all of us what you are doing? Did you start a new hobby, excercise more, read more, etc. Just curious, if anyone wants to share.

For myself I can't believe how fast the summer is flying by!! I have 3 kids and have been kept quite busy with their activites and summer events. And I started reading again to keep from getting to lonely at night. I am so glad summer is going by quickly.

I live in Wisconsin, so this spring when the corn was planted, I said to myself, by the time this corn is full grown and ready for harvest, hopefully (fingers crossed) Marcos will be close to coming home. And know what? TODAY I noticed the corn tasseling!!!

I'm hoping to hear something within the next month and have him home by elections

I can't wait!! I am getting anxious!! :D

Hello all! I keep myself busy with my 2 girls here. I make sure I keep my hands on to them. I am also taking the chance of reviewing for my US licensure exam while on the wait though I admit that my mind is preoccupied by this NOA2. And this Igor's list, like I keep checking on lottery numbers and wish I win the jackpot. Ohhh by the way, there got march filers approved last July 28...keep going CSC!!!!! For sure once one April filer here gets approved, we'll all be going gaga, haha!

Ooopppsss, would love to have some corn please? :pop:

Best regards to everyone here.

I can say I am offically going "gaga"!!! don't know about the rest of you.... I am going crazy, excited everyday to check and see who got approved. I check my snail mail with such eagerness hoping to see the address from the USCIS!!!!!

our summer is coming to an end (bittersweet) ;) .... got school supply shopping almost done for the kids, just another couple of weeks until they go back to school

one last thing before I leave....

GO!!!! CSC, GO!!!!!! :D

Yes!

I'm pleased to hear that "touches" are not a reliable indicator of forward progress and that I can stop clicking obsessively on my USCIS status page.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Received this email today from CRIS:

"The last processing action taken on your case

Receipt Number: WAC08************

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: DOCUMENT OTHER THAN CARD OR TRAVEL DOCUMENT BEING HELD FOR 180 DAYS SINCE RETURNED AS UNDELIVERABLE

On May 7, 2008, the post office returned your document I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) as undeliverable. We will hold it for 180 days from May 7, 2008 to allow you time to contact us. If you do not contact us at 1-800-375-5283 within 180 days, this document will be destroyed and you will need to file a new application or application for replacement with fee.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

*Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov under Case Status and Processing Dates.

*** Please do not respond to this e-mail message.

Sincerely,

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)"

When I first saw that I had an email form CRIS, my heart leapt up and down in joy. But then it was this garbage.

Now I am assuming this is our missing NOA1. I called them up, explained the whole story (once again, for the third time) and the women right away gave me a confirmation number for re-issuing my NOA1 (within 45 days, so I am hoping we'll get the NOA2 before the NOA1). But something about the language "this document will be destroyed and you will need to file a new application or application for replacement with fee," has me really on edge. I asked her twice to confirm that our case was being processed and she confirmed twice. I still have no faith in them.

And please note that even though they say the document was returned to them on May 7, 2008, they did not send me this email until today, August 6th. I had checked our case this morning on the USCIS website and it said that the last action was on May 1, 2008. Now it says August 6th, 2008.
