My Cousin also swears that by drinking a combination of Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey and Water every day he has never been sick.

OMG, that would MAKE me sick!

Hot toddy all the way, Hannah! whiskey, honey, fresh lemon, and boiling water. Have two! It may not help your cold, but you won't care. Dayquil and Nyquil if you can get it over there. But not if it's the American version.... it has different ingredients which don't work.

It's pretty bad. Even if you dump 8 ounces of honey in it!

If you are sneezing constantly, it may be allergies. You might want to take antihistamines. If it's just common colds, increase fluid intake may help. Cut down on sweets.

I'm very relieved not to suffer from hayfever as I'm allergic to antihistamines.

I was thinking along the lines of prevention.

0k, Nighthawk, you're up in Scrabble.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

My husband swears by ginger tea and shots of white rum.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

Back in Poland when I was growing up my grandma used to prepare a magic potion of hot milk, minced garlic and butter and force us to drink it up. She always raved about the effectiveness of this but I have hard time accessing the suppressed memories of drinking such gross-sounding mixture...
