Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Was great, was over the moon to come to this point. I migration Officer wasn't overly friendly but pleasant and nice. No harassment what so ever. Asked me a question i can't remember about what but refer to Vito as my husband and i corrected him and said my fiance and i ... his reply was oh yeah sorry i meant fiance (acted embarrassed like it was a genuine accident.)reminded me of the 90 day rule and i said that's ok the wedding is the 9th of April and left for my luggage a very happy bunny.

Got I551 Stamp : Yes
Greencard Received: 2009-09-18
Comments : We are having to apply without submitting the noa2 from petition because they forgot to send us evidence and its taken months to get them to even send for a service request. instead we have sent a letter explaining this and also the noa1, nvc letter and service request letter. fingers crossed it works.

We got the hard copy of the Noa2 for k1 petition literally 4 or 3 weeks prior to the interview. The interviewing officer didn't even mention it or ask to see it. Go figure, just wanted to see and have proof of cohabiting and relationship.

moved the month before approval and filed the change of address. which apparently failed because they sent the green card to old address and it was subsequently sent back to csc. I had to do a service request and get them to resend it to new address.

Embassy Review : Jan 13th 09
Well after waking up with nerves constantly, throughout the night in my hotel room across the road from the embassy,I went across at around 8:45 perhaps 8;50 to line up for my 9:30 am interview. After i got throught the two security checks, and got my 5000 number (5017)from the lady at the counter in the lobby, and got up stairs to sit down it must have been ten past nine maybe, it took a few minutes to get through the que, not much time at all. when it was finally my turn to see the first guy (english and very nice and gentle mannor) it was about half ten i think. he got me to sign a couple of things and sent me to counter 12 to pay ( £88.60 gbp)and come again, after which he gave me back my x ray and told me what to do with it, took Vitos 2007 tax returns and employer letter only, birthcertificate plus copy, and police certificate plus copy. my finger prints and photos. once he had everything he gave me the sms courier sheet with the number and bar code stuck on from lobby lady and asked me to wait to be called again, eventually i was called to counter 16 at around 12:10 maybe or 12:00 not exactly sure. this time an American guy (again very nice and gentle mannor) asked if i had paid, got me to sign the checklist forms and date them and asked a few question while he was at it, lonest time spent in America, how did we meet how did he propose, what did he do for living, what do i plan on doing, when am i leaving, so what happened then when he came to your hotel and you met... he left and..... i relayed the entire visit history we had...prob also helped that i went from nervous to grinning goof cos i was talking about my man and getting married to him and being with him and such. lol
he also took my finger prints though this time only one set of fingers. all this took 5 mins maybe just over. he just said ok all this is fine if you could just go pay the courier... my responce was you mean i am approved??? oh thank you you have just made my day...
went to go pay courier and was out of embassy before 12:30 phheeewww speeking pf courier he was ment to be here today (16th) and he only has an hour left.hmmmmm
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
