Hi Ken, have you contacted the local police or sheriff in her hometown? They can send someone to go by her place and report back to you. Hope she is alright and that she contacts you soon!

How about a So of someone on here that would be close enough to ck, or would know how to contact the agencies there....surely someone on here could come close to the area, enough to inquire. i know like for us in Morocco there would be many that could figure out how to contact some way

Since her father was in hospital and her mother sick and she had food poisoning, have you tried calling the hospital in her area to see if she or a family member is there? Calling the police and having them check is also an excellent idea. I know I would be going crazy not knowing as well. I would definitely try to get there asap. Good luck.

I don't have any contact info other than her brother and sister-in-law in Bogota. I sent them an email yesterday, but I haven't heard anything yet, and I hired someone to help with our paperwork who is taking a taxi to her house (hopefully) in the next few days. I will give the police a call in the morning, and have them possibly stop by as well.

This is the hard part when being in a long distance relationship. Stuff comes up, and you're stuck w/o much that you can do. Thankfully, I have vacation time coming up, so if necessary, I'll catch a plane to Barranquilla.

Here's a map of her neighborhood. She lives south of the Shakira monument and the soccer stadium. If I could only drive there...
