Lizzy, you´ll be fine.

For everyone else without a NOA2 this will prolly just mean the wait will be a little longer.

Good news (for me anyway)!!!

The chap I spoke to at the London Embassy just called me back and

told me that the Department of Homeland Security are recalling K1

cases whose RECEIPT NOTICE, that means NOA1, is dated March 6th

or thereafter.

Let me re-iterate: if your NOA2 is after March 6th, YOU'RE OK!

If your NOA1 is date March 6th or thereafter, then your case is subject

to the new security checks.

Sorry for the scare, folks. Another DHS screw up. Excuse me now while I

go have a heart attack.....

How valid is this? My receipt date is Jan. 5th and my approval date is March 23rd. So Im okay right? I should call the embassy back and reschedule?

Why why why.

Well hopefully they're not going to do this for people who are before, yet very close to the date of March 6th. NOA1 Feb 27... that's cutting it close. I'm so sorry to hear this for people after March6th. Hopefully we'll get more news on this and everyone will be fine and if they do have to do more checks they will be very speedy! Hang in there. Good luck to everyone.

the people at the uk embassy arent very nice. or maybe its just this 1 lady that my fiance always seems to get everytime he calls. she doesnt seem to understand how this affects us or how much waiting we have done. the least they can do is understand why we are calling as often as we are. the point of their job is to answer our questions and she is really !!!! about it. ranting.

This is valid. I was on the phone with the embassy DIRECTLY, and not the #######

helpine in Scotland.

If your NOA1 is dated March 6th or after, your case is affected by the IMBRA

nonsense.

With a receipt date of January 5th, you'll be fine! Relax!
