how can people eat at McD's .... ugh ...lol

Not one time......since I've seen "Supersize Me".

But wasn't 'supersize me' about fast food in general (including Jack in the Box) not just McDonalds.

Anyway, we normally eat fast food maybe twice a month, but since we arrived in the U.S. 4 weeks ago we have had it quite a bit, trying all these new places - krystal's, steak and shake etc etc.

Can't say that any of them are that appealing.

Try Pollo Tropical. Their Caribbean Fajitas are great! Popeye's isn't bad, either.

My OH nearly dropped to his knee's in thanks when he found a Popeyes in Hong Kong Airport. I didn't see them anywhere else in the city, weird.

Almost never eat fast food. If i'm going out to eat, i'd rather go to a restaurant, rather than crappy fast food. The main fast food I would eat is fish and chips.

Oh good Lord, I have had a terrible time finding proper fish & chips in Florida. I have had to resort ot making my own, which really stinks up the hosue. While I was in Canada this past week (gosh.... was it only a few hours ago?) I had some and my husband (who didn't come to Canada with me) got a craving for them and finally found a place he thinks I will like. Yay! Looking forward to trying it.

I'm addicted to milkshakes and frosty's! I can't help myself....the baby loves iceceam! *Giggles*

I'm a pregnant mother what do you expect?

Who am I gonna blame it on after the baby comes along?

Oh, and sorry but gotta have my cheesesticks and extra cheese fries, onion rings, and let's not forget a yummy delightful chik'n and cheese sandwich from White Castle or a delicious hearty beef 'n cheddar from good ole Arby's!

Need I say "PASS THE DIET COKE"!?

Supersize me was good. Anyone read Fast Food Nation?

I don't care for fast food but I eat it because I'm so darn busy to cook. I am hating ramen noodles and even simple things like spaghetti does not taste good. But I'm trying to make a conscous effort to save money and due to food prices going up, I am curious as to how much money I can actually save by not eating Fast Food. Since Friday, I have paid $20 for food which consisted of (grocery shopping-wise) of chicken breasts, beef stew meat, a pack of Oreos, yogurt, lemon juice, and beef broth. With this, so far I've made afghan chicken (and I had a can of corn and potatoes already in m place to make a meal with it). With the beef I will make an afghan style beef stew. So far the chicken has lasted me a day and I have leftovers for tomorrow. And I'll cook the beef stuff I guess the day after tomorrow. So in my experiement, I have only spent $20 on food (aside from $6 this weekned at Dunkin Donuts and $5 tonight at starbucks cuz I can't resist a caramel frap:) whereas if I ate everyday once a day at Quiznos (which has been my choice in the past month of fast food), I would have spent near $40 from fri til now.

I don't eat fast food

And

I don't eat fast food

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

When I think of fast food I think of greasy, processed food from palces such as McDonald's, Burger King. Even though Subway woudl count as fast food, I believe it is much healthier than many of the other choices and can actually be good for you.

BTW, McDonald's is apparently giving out a free chicken sandwich in the DC metro area so long as you buy a drink.
