I told her than if we acquire any more cats, I'd divorce her. She didn't seem to be at all scared of me doing so....

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Good for you, Mags! Those are gonna be some lucky kitties to get some of the Mags-love, even if it is only for a bit.

I'm also going to fill in when they need me. I'll basically be feeding, watering and cleaning their cages. Then I get to hold them, brush them, play with them a bit and make sure they have some human contact. Let's face it life in a cage, however short, is sad. The good thing about this shelter is that they do have a free roaming room. A big room set up, with shelves and play things, where the cats can run, jump and play. It's really nice.

They are really suffering for funding though, so anything I can do to help I will.

neil's mom used to do lots of fundraising for the cats protection league in england. he says they did bake sales and carnival type things to raise money.

I'm hoping to organize a fund-raiser bike ride to raise some money for them. They want a sun porch for the kitties.

Platy is also going to be sorting out their PC. They have a really old one there (about 1994!) and they have a newer one waiting to be set up - but no one there knows how to get the info on there across to the new PC...so Platy is going to do that next week for them.
