Approved K-1 VISA

My fiance Henry text messaged me this morning.

YES "VISA". I love you, mine perfect super wife, BIG love story BABY-WENDY-HENRY :-) :-D:-D <3

His visa interview was scheduled for Thursday March 13, 2008 at 1:00 pm. He was early to the Embassy. He spoke first with an older woman and then with a man. He said he did not understand the woman and that she was not a good communicator. He then spoke with a man who he said was really good. The man spoke Polish to him and then he answered back in English. After the interview was all over he was waiting for his name to be called to collect his visa. They instructed him to return the next day. He was unsure if that meant everything was ok or if there was a problem. He wasn't too crazy about leaving the Embassy with his passport behind. He returned the next day and waited for a while...over an hour and then they gave him his envelope and visa. He is so super excited. Count down to his arrival - 19 days.

In Ireland we had a ceremony with our friends and family present. When Henry arrives here in Denver on April the 2nd we will go out to dinner. April the 3rd 8 am we will go to the Denver City Hall and give them $10 and show our two passports and then sign out marriage license. Then we will be done with that part and file our Adjustment papers. After that lovely civil signing of our marriage documents we will go to the hospital for my ultrasound. I will be 22 weeks pregnant upon his arrival. "Honeymoon baby!" What a way to get to know the U S A!

This will be the first time that Henry has ever been to the USA. I am thrilled that we will be able to begin our lives together.
