When us "older" folks were kids, clowns made us laugh and feel at ease. A clown was never protrayed as evil. I had a stuffed clown that was my favourite toy as a child. I also watched Bozo everyday and all the other clown themed kids shows. But with all the Evil clown movies, people like MJ that look like a permanent clown, serial killer clowns, and so forth it is no wonder. My 15 year old daughter hates clowns with a passion. The whole clown thing was been twisted. I have to admit, I don't like clowns any more and it goes beyond just growing up.

Maybe somebody here knows or can find it, but the most famous Ronald McDonald from the 70's commercials later became an advocate against McDonald's for pushing fast food on to kids. I remember seeing the actor on a commercial for canned vegetables sometime in the 90's. I recognized his voice and his eyes.
