Unique evidence of meeting or of a relationship

It would be interesting to hear some of the more unique kinds of evidence everyone has for having met in the last 2 years or of an ongoing relationship. Most people have the standard evidence, like boarding passes, passport stamps, emails, letters, ect, but what evidence did you use that is unqiue to you?

Me and Kathy visited Yellow Mountain together in August and our names appear on a travel contract for this trip, of course signed and dated. Supporting that, we had pictures together, including one picture taken of us together underneath the same tree that is pictured on the front of the tickets (which are also time stamped). None of this was done on purpose, and in fact occured before we were even engaged, but it's really nice and a bit unique to us. Of course, I sent the usual passport stamps and plane tickets too.

I know there are people who have had a baby together before beginning the K1 process. Would the birth certificate of a child born in the last 15 month be primary or secondary evidence for having met in person within the last 24 months? I've always wondered if anyone has used this as evidence and if it was accepted. hehe

I don't know that we had anything unique. I had sent him handmade cards......I made 1 a day for a year and 1/2. Does that count? And, he made me this picture thing of seashells.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

When my fiance flew in to visit me in April he was chosen for a random stop-check by the Metropolitan Police in the baggage claim area of Heathrow Airport. We sent the paperwork from that in as evidence that he was here. :)

As evidence of the ongoing relationship I included the funeral announcement printed in the newspaper for my Mother's passing listing him as my fiance. (She died a month after we became engaged). We used photographs together along with plane boarding passes as primary evidence we had met

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

My husband made a shirt with our picture on it with "I love you" and our names printed on the front. He made that right before the interview - but the CO didn't ask for anything but pictures (I made a scrapbook of us which I showed).

My husband also had sent me a grain of rice with our names and "I love you" written on it - but I didn't take it to the interview either. We have bigger presents too that we didn't include pictures of...

Me and my fiancee took a picture of us on the Tennessee and North Carolina state line.

We had both of our legs on either side of the sign, being in two places at once! :)

That is one of our featured pictures in our scrapbook, on the "Gatlinburg vacation" page

As we met at Michigan State when he was studying here, I submitted evidence of where we both lived on campus (buildings next to each other) and then sent in a map and circled them :) Overboard I know, but I REALLY didnt want an RFE ;)

We had a one of those really cheesy pictures taken together at Niagara Falls where theysort of paste your picture in together? But, I figured it proved we were there together, they wouldn't produce anything like that anywhere else. And I had pictures of us together in Central Park when they had the bright orange Gates out. I figured that would be a time reference as well 'in the last two years.'

And all the usual stuff, intineraries, as many boarding passes as I could find (I lose them ALL THE TIME though)

It felt weird to do this, but when I printed out the emails that Pete had sent me, they all had comics at the bottom that I couldn't get out, because he sends me daily and weekly comic strips every weekday. :D So, some lazy adjudicator is going to have funnies to read with our emails.

Together with the paperworks, my fiance included photocopies of the envelopes (snail mail letters/ cards I sent to him) that shows the dates & country stamps. :D. We joked about it, that was OverKill  We know that it is during the embassy interview that we need those (not the photocopies though :P ).

My husband, then fiance, is a huge fan of going to the movies (not much else to do in the small town he lived in Mexico. I saved every movie ticket stub (almost 3 years worth), receipts from the concession stands. Every time we went somewhere special, we took photos, including receipts. We also had a journal that we used to pass back and forth. I would write a message, then when I went to visit, I would leave the journal for him. He would write an entry then return it. Every entry was dated and of course handwritten. We made copies of certain page entries and had the original for inspection if needed (they never asked). Also included color copies of all our photos - we had a great deal of evidence. Not sure if it is unique though.

Hi,

We have all the usual things prepared, but I am also taking along some letters from people I worked with at the UN in NYC, my professors, and our family and friends on notarized letters, just saying that we have been together, and they have been familiar with us as a couple for the last two and a half years; not sure how much they help but our lawyer suggested just to over-prepare. We are also getting these from people who work in a professional environment and can write their contact details etc on the letter, so the embassy knows they could call and verify.

Also lots of pictures of us at Thanksgiving and Christmas with his family here in the US, and photos with my family, all members from our baby nephew/nieces to our nanas. We will also take pictures of our trips abroad to Italy etc. Also travel documents, pictures of last summer when Sidiq and I and our little sisters went to Greece with my Dad's family, and just photos of random parties and days out from our time living together. I think these are good as they show us in different locations, with different people and at different times of the year, as 30 photos all from one trip do not really show continuity.

We have been living together here in NCY too so I am going to ask our landlady for a notarized copy of our lease with our names on, but I don't think that will help you as I am not sure you guys lived together yet.

Thats about all I can think of right now that may help. I think they prefer proof of tangibly being together to e-mail/chat etc as we all spend so much time online nowadays, but I am sure all of that does not hurt either!

Good Luck

Lily

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth
