Approved on 5/26/2022. Apparently the case is sent without a review of the submitted documents and the consulate will schedule the appointment, not the NVC. Prior to receiving any notice from the consulate, I opened an account at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com and submitted a request to schedule an appointment. That request was approved and I was able to select an appointment prior to receiving notice that the consulate had received my file. | 2022-07-27 |

There is no paperwork that has to be carried anymore. Everything has gone electronic. They give you a paper stapled to your visa with the Alien Registration number. So that when you arrive in the USA the airport can pull up the documents for the point of entry process. I am so glad this WHOLE process is over with 🙌ðŸ¾. | 2020-08-09 |

I needed to find dated pictures of when I was pregnant as well as shortly after of his birth, a new copy of his baptismal, and a medical record proof of his birth to me.
