DV Lottery of K1 Visa - Can I file for both?

I applied for the DV lottery 2025 and hope to be selected this year. My fiancé and I discovered that there is a fiancé visa for the USA. Do you think if we apply for the K1 visa but are selected for the DV lottery that we can stop the fiancé visa process? What are the timelines and options here :)?-

Confused about steps after marriage

My fiancee arrived last month on K1 fiance visa and we got married yesterday. It seems from what I have seen online that I made a mistake by not getting SSN prior to marriage? I am going to the SSN office on Monday to gather more information... also worried about employment authorization and travel authorization(s). Thanks for any insights!-

Tourist visa cancelled by CBP agent. Can we still get a CR1 or K1 Visa?

Upon my gf's most recent arrival, her tourist visa was cancelled at the airport due to her frequent visits last year and suspicion of working here. She was denied entry and sent back same day. Is a CR1 or K1 visa process an option still? I would appreciate any advice or tips you can provide!-

I need an advice. I am visiting my boyfriend in the US who is a US citizen. I am on my B1/B2 visa, and I am on a vacation from my work. I was planning to go back to my country after 2 weeks, but this time we decided to marry. We have read about the AoS based on marriage, but we also know there is a CR1/IR1 visa option for married couples.
So we don't know which one to do - I stay here and we do AoS? Or we get married here, and I go back to my country and we start the IR1 visa process?
Which option would be better??

1 RepliesI went for interview on 17th April which the consular officer mentioned my case is approved and visa will be ready in next 10 days. My CEAC status changed to Administrative Procesing on 18th April. It later changed to Ready on 25th April and it s been updated on 26th April, 1st May and 3rd May but still stays at Ready . It s been three weeks after the view. I m frustrated.

5 RepliesHi I am us citizen married with Korean citizen who is in the us currently. My last year income is $190 less than 125% guideline for household two. Therefore i want to use my fully paid house as assets to make up the 3times difference which is $190x3=$570
in order to submit the house what kind of proof do i need to submit? And how & where can i obtain them?
deed? Appraisal value? Market price of the house?

How to inquire about the status of the ROC? the extension will expire early 2025. Thank you for your insights.

I am currently at NVC stage and gathering all civil documents. one document I need to obtain is deportation document as I stupidly overstayed an esta by 2 days a few years back and got removed from the US. I can t seem to find what I m looking for on Google, any help? Thanks in advance !

Considering how quickly they've been processing EB visas lately (at a rate of 2 months per month), I don't believe you're completely screwed. If your new DQ is in March-April, you might still receive an interview letter within 6 months or possibly even sooner.· 0 replies
