Scan date: 16th June, 2017

Case complete: 28th, July 2017

Interview date: still waiting 🙏

Country: Sudan.

PD: 8th, Aug 2016.

Receive your immigrant information

The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will give you your:

  • A-Number (the letter “A” followed by 8 or 9 numbers);
  • DOS Case ID (3 letters followed by 9 or 10 numbers);
  • Instructions for paying the USCIS Immigrant Fee;
  • Immigrant Data Summary; and
  • Sealed immigrant visa packet.

If you are a Diversity Visa immigrant, your DOS Case ID will have 4 numbers followed by 2 letters and 5 more numbers (for example: 0000AB01234).

Do my parents need to endorse dollars after getting immigration visa? or they just carry dollars without informing authority? I know there is a limit. They won't cross that limit. Please, Advice.

if the money is not going to over the limit, u can just bring it

that's what I did when I entered US.

I brought some money (near 10,000) and also some jewels. although I didn't need to inform them, but when they asked me, I told them what I had with me, and they didn't ask further question.

Question. My husband is now making me freak out since we are nearing the interview date and overthinking everything. We noticed they spelled my moms name wrong on our marriage certificate. Don’t ask me how I didn’t notice before. I’ve looked at everything 100 times. It says Vanesa and it’s actually Venessa. This has gone though USCIS and NVC without issue. Anyone see this being a problem at the interview? Thanks!
