Hey guys, me and my fiancée sent our papers to Texas Dallas on the 13th of January of 2017. It's the 6th of February and I haven't received any e-mail or any correspondence. How much time should I wait? I read tons of things that it could take 5 months before the NOA2 is approved, but I wanted to know how much time would it take for them to send the first e-mail saying that the NOA1 is being processed. I'm just afraid our papers could be lost or something. Thank you for your time.

You sent to the lockbox in Lewisville, Tx right?

And while NOA1 can come as quick as 1-2 weeks, it can take up to 30 days.

Did you use a check for the processing fee? If so check to see if it has been cashed.

No, I sent it to P.O. Box 660151 Dallas TX 75266 by the USPS. Like is written in "where to file" in the USCIS site (https://www.uscis.gov/i-129f). No, the cash hasn't been cashed yet. What do I do if it passes 30 days?

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:

Did you mail the new updated K-1 Visa fee?

Did you send your package with delivery confirmation?

Which country is your fiance coming from?

It generally takes 2-3 weeks to receive an NOA1.   Some have received their NOA1 sooner.

If it were me, after 3 weeks with no NOA1 and no check cashed, I'd call the USCIS at their customer service number.

Their customer service number is located at the bottom of their webpage:

I'm afraid p-ana is correct.  All the associated K1 Visa fees went up after December 23, 2016:  https://www.uscis.gov/forms/our-fees

You will most likely get a rejection letter in the mail soon, and will have to resubmit your I-129F with the new fee.
