NVC PROECSSING TIME

I just want to know if anyone out there are at the NVC stage for 2016,

How long do they take to review documents ( civil documents, AOS, etc...)

They received all documents in one package and i haven't heard anything, I call the NVC phone number 

and they confirmed receiving my documents and told me it will take up to 6 weeks. My friends who did this before told

me they usually get back to you within 30 days. I want to know if anyone have an idea of how long NVC takes to get back to me,

and whats their processing times been like for 2016 ?? Thank you all.

It used to be 30 days but lately it has been getting longer and longer. Mine was 50 days in September/October this year. Currently people are waiting 60 to 80 days.

I waited 1 day shy of 8 weeks for them to review our original packet (2 weeks on supervisor review). They needed my wife's long form birth certificate (we sent a "short form", only difference is her parent's names and occupations, and the occupations are pointless since they have both changed...so just 6 more words on the page, 3 for each name). We are going into 5 weeks for them to look at the birth certificate (5 weeks on Monday) - new scan date was November 28th.

It's a long process. Nothing much you can do. People say to "keep calling" but I don't really think it makes a difference. The people who answer the phone have nothing to do with actually reviewing anything. Once you get to supervisor review at 6 weeks you can call more frequently but it seems like practically everyone is getting put on supervisor review since practically everyone is taking 6 weeks, so that kind of takes the "power" out of the review process

you can call this number most of the time you will have to keep calling until you can get to someone on the phone it will be little wait to speak to someone

You may get a message saying they are all busy right now. Sometimes during peak hours they don't even let you wait on hold. Best times are at night or first thing. Noon central time (right now) tends to be pretty busy.

yes i get a message to hold or go on website but then it just hangs up. I will try later on. Thanks so much.
