11 posts in this topic Register to Ask a Question

The officer was very very professional. Went throught the n-400 questions, read a sentence in english, wrote " today is a beatuful day", and answered the following questions: Capital city of your state, declaration of independece date, why do we celebrate 4th of july, Congressman, senator of your state, who is the president? Everything was over in 20 minutes.

Awsome interviewr, made me feel very confortable at all the time.

Congrats! Does it happen that you've had the oath on the same day, or the boston office doesn't do that?

Speaking of which...does anyone has a list of USCIS offices that schedule the oath the same day?

According to a study, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Charlotte, Mount Laurel, NJ, Dallas, Fresno, Montreal, Newark, Norfolk, Omaha, Orlando, Portland, Raleigh, Fairfax, VA, and Wichita district and field offices hold 10 percent to 86 percent of their oath ceremonies on the same day the naturalization application is approved. So it depends... my office in Newark does same day Oath Ceremonies all the time.
