First I want to thank ptm897 for the input. Very helpful. I would like to piggyback on Yuda's question and ask a similar one: Minor grammatical errors are OK wen answering the questions, correct? For example "The War IN 1812" instead of "The War OF 1812"

Hi Stevephoto, minor spelling/grammatical errors are OK as long as it doesn't change the meaning of the sentence and for spelling mistakes, they are also OK as long as when the Officer looks at the sentence it looks like English and they are able to make out what the sentence says, so minor spelling mistakes are not supposed to count against the applicant.    For the example that you have shown here, that would be acceptable because the spelling/grammar error does not change the meaning of the sentence.

Perfect. Thanks. Her responses are correct, just not "perfect" structurally--but not enough to change the meaning of what she said. I am really overthinking this last phase! I appreciate your experience and comments greatly. Salamat!

when applying to N-400 ,naturalization under VAWA,what documents you need to add to your application?Do you need to send 2 photos?if u get fingerprint can you do it earlier than the day specified on the letter?

Please do not post the same question in multiple threads...better yet, start your own thread with your question. I do not know about VAWA, but from what I understand, you apply for naturalization under either the 3-year (married to a USC) rule or the 5-year LPR rule. The photos are now taken at the biometrics appointment. Some offices allow early walk-ins (ours did) if they are not too busy. Good luck.

Salamat! No special tools, just a lot of repetition and asking the questions i jumbled order. (we got the book from USCIS but the same questions are online somewhere...make sure that the election results are updated)

Got my interview on Thursday. I've been using this site http://civicsquestions.com it covers all the questions, let's you put in your address to get to local answers, including Representatives.  Even covers the spoken and with parts.

Great tools!!! I use got my interview letter and it would seem that I forgot everything I knew so I got to refresh my mind. Thanks for the practice test

It appears USCIS now offers an online tool to help with the civics test:
