Father filed for son under 21 with a priority date September 21, 2017 . How long it takes to be approved??

What is the father's status in the US (USC or LPR)?

 

If USC, expect a year or so from I-130 filing to embassy interview.

If LPR, expect about 2 years instead, depending on when the PD becomes current.

He’s a USC. My question is normally how long it takes to be approved??This is the fourth month now since his dad petition for him.

Yeah, this is normal. It'll probably be about another 8 months until the interview. The I-130 approval is typically at the 6-9 month period right now, then a couple/few months at NVC, then a couple months to get the interview at the embassy.

Good morning , my next question is what about USC Husband filing for wife out of the country how long it normally takes to approved ? If the wife priority date is December 1, 2017

Spouses take around 12 - 14 months give or take a month or two.

 

Nothing is fast with immigration. The waiting sucks, we know, but not much else you can do.

What about if your on a H2B Visas in the states now and your US citizen husband already filed I 130 petition for you from Jamaica can you still adjusted your status while here on the H2b visa??

We just bought my husbands son from England the process took about 10 months to get the interview but we had to put it off as my husband could not fly back to the London Embassy until January. We filed November 2016 interview was scheduled for September 2017.

My son will be 20 this year September and his dad which is a USC Petition for him since last year September so his PD is September 21, 2017. It’s almost 6 months now and his dad have not  heard anything from USCIS...Anyone have any idea how far along  the  Nebraska service center is?

This month is for early Sep/Aug filers, so since the PD is almost end of September , hopefully they gonna hear something by the end of this March or probably beginning of April. Good luck.
