I entered the USA on K1 visa and I got married on July 2nd and I had to go back to Egypt for an emergency before I get my adjustment of status now I'm going to apply for a spouse visa what should I do since the marriage was in the United States?

Did you apply for an AP (advance parole) at the same time as AOS?

Of you leave the country before this I believe you have to start the AOS packages again

It's not you who fill out the paperwork, your usc spouse is doing most of the work in the first part. You guys are in for another year of waiting

Just start the application for the CR1 visa. First step is to file the I-130. Best of luck!

You didn't apply for AP then your K1 status should be abandoned. However you need to start the from the beginning but this time the petition form going to be I-130 instead I-129F.

Went usa on k1 visa got married there in dec 2013 and came back to Pakistan in 2014 without advance parole.husband started all the immigration work from the beginning and now we waiting for interview date.

Well, what did he send with the papers, I mean I don't have anything from there other than pictures and the social security number! is the pictures enough evidence with the i-130? and how much the filling cost?

Hello Everyone.

I've already asked the question before but I'm just a little lost. So, here's what happened..

I entered the united states on K1 visa last April and we got married July 2nd and due a lack of money I couldn't apply for the AOS!

In December I had to go back home to Egypt for family emergency, and since i didn't apply for the AOS i understand being married doesn't make any different if we're going to apply for CR-1 visa, but my questions are:

we got married but we didn't have any wedding, we didn't have anything like joint bank accounts, we only have the marriage license and i have my social security number and also a lot of picture we took together when i was there. So, when my wife apply for I-130 what else we need to send with it as evidence beside the marriage license!

and is the fee for filling is $420?

I've already read the guides here and downloaded the forms but I'm just confused about the evidence that should be sent when we ready to apply!

Tell her to add your name in a few utility bills and lease agreement.I suggest this because you lived with her for a while.

include evidence of your continuing relationship-chat logs, skype screenshots, phone logs

if you have money transfer receipts you can include those, include some pictures from your wedding, and if she has made a trip to see you since you left include information from that, and if you two made any trips together include information from that
