Don't panic! It took our case 13 days to go from "in transit" to "ready" at the embassy. Keep in mind that your petition is most likely already at the embassy. The staff simply need to process it.

Thanks! If ever there is still nothing this friday maybe I should call right?

I'd check with the other folks here who have Filipino fiance/ees. Each embassy is different. It does seem that they process petitions fairly quickly in Manila.

Sorry what is AP? If you mean the Philippines right now, no. I'm going in February to pick her up and visit family there for about 10 days.

Can anyone please tell me how to track if philippine embassy got our papers already from NVC??? What to do next? Can i set medical and interview appointment now??

If you got your case number go ahead and pay the Visa fee and fill out ds160, can also schedule interview and fill out your info with St. Luke's in Manila in their webpage.

The consulate just told her she will receive the visa in 5 to 10 days (she is having sent via 2Go, to her local SM mall, yeah all Philippines stuff, haha). Last I checked CEAC it said ready and to check back in 2 days.

Where and how can you pay the visa fee? I completed the DS 160 but didn't see a payment option. I went to the embassy site in Malawi and can't find any method either.

I'm sorry, I don't know for different countries, in Philippines she paid directly into their account at a specific bank, with a special deposit slip that was generated online.
