Wonderful!

So lets say my petition will arrive to the NVC in 4 weeks, then 14 days to CC, and then 2 months to interview? Did I understand you correctly?

Just to give you a comparison. I received my NVC welcome letter in October. After designating an agent (DS-261), fee payment, filling out DS-260, submitting paperwork for their review (they took the full 45days), I had case complete on Jan 11th. Still waiting on a interview date. My filing isn't electronic however, so your experience could be different. Oh and by the way, NVC had my birth date wrong in their system, so they wouldn't give out any info over the phone to us. That took ages to fix, but of course, it slowed everything down.

Heya! Nice to have another one from the Oceania region on here! :)

You can always call up the embassy and do a general inquiry about the interview dates and time.

Don't lose hope and hang in there. :star:

Hello girl! So nice to see you here ))))) glad to find another June I-130 filler that we started our journey with ))))) Good luck and lets see our families as soon as possible!

Electronically you can have case complete in 7 to 14 days at NVC (Montreal) as long as they have everything they need from you. They've been hitting these numbers lately.

I never understood why they don't do it electronically for everyone?! Feels ridiculous with all this paper and post in 2016.

Here is the new thing, page 9

As original documents are no longer required, could NVC review the documentation included with the I-130 petition to locate items such as copies of marriage and birth certificates before sending the list of required documents?

RESPONSE: This would require a change in workflow. NVC is looking at the feasibility of implementing a process such as this as part of the Modernized Immigrant Visa (MIV) process.

How to track if case is transfered to embassy?

Go to http://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx and see the status "At nvc" / "In Transit" / "Ready" / "AP" - That is what you can see. Well there is also "returned to nvc".

I have YET to see prof that we know it´s the case 100%, we know when they use DHL/UPS (or what ever.) to ship the papers and your passport home to you.

Of course it isn't 100% this is a little something someone came up with to pass the time and track. Without precise tracking # no one knows if its your casefile in that bundle. We aren't suppose to know in all honesty

Back a few years I tracked my package that weighed 20 lbs I knew it was mine being sent out and track to the embassy because the bundled weighed exactly 20 lbs.

People need to just focus on the CEAC.state.gov site for tracking that's what it's there for. The rest is just a guess and a hope and a pray. Most after getting interview date never want to speak to NVC again. But to know exactly that's your case in that bundle to that embassy you would have to call NVC and ask them when has your case left. Once it leaves NVC it goes down to Boston and that's when the scanning starts.

I probably will delete the DHL tracking after this month cuz it's just too much confusion and chaos. If anyone has issue with tracking the link on the first post (seems no one reads that anymore) :ranting::protest: go to the thread and the OP will be more than happy to help you out. Thank you (L):goofy:

Thanks for putting words on it and telling it so we all can understand it.

You have been doing this for sometime ;) And if you look back through out all of it. Is it normal for at case to be shipped to a Embassy more then a month before the interview date ?

Or is it just random every time?
