I-751 More evidence?!

I need someone to help me through this.

I filed my husband petition to remove condition on residence on November and

3 weeks ago he had his fingerprints taken.

We just received a letter saying that the documents that were submitted did not sufficiently demonstrate a bona fide marriage for the following reason:

-I submitted just 2 bank statements without additional statements to show that me and my spouse have transactional history using the account throughout the marriage.

So they want me to send more evidence?. This is what I sent 1st time:

-2013 tax transcripts

-2 bank statements

-Health care information

-Auto insurance information

-Trip receipts

Now, I think that I made I mistake when I sent only 2 bank statement. I sent first month bank statement since he came to USA which was on March 2013 and October 2014.

Now I realize that they want all bank statements since he came to USA, so I just printed 2 years and half of bank statements is this gonna be enough or should I send more evidence? For example, we want to buy our first home together and we were just approved for a home loan should I send them this letter? The approval letter from the lender?

Also I can send some pictures of us and my family, my last 6 month of car insurance and two letter from my friends. Is that gonna be enough? please help me with this. Thanks.

You need to send:

- tax for all years

- more bank statements

- credit card(s) statements

- other mail if you guys have

- copy of policy and cards for car insurance showing both names

- utility bills showing both names

- lease showing both names for last 2 -3 years

- pictures

- 2 signed affidavits from persons who know both of you saying that they know you guys and shortly explaining your relationship

- whatever you guys have on both names ( Sams club, Costco cards, gym membership).........

Our packet was 6lb heavy....

Overload is better than under load, all joint document of both of you if possible not some, you also miss lease agreement in your list also or is both of you not living together. ?

Yes we are living together, but we live with my parents, so we are not on the lease agreements.

I understand that overload is better, but this is all we have together:

-2 years and 4 months bank statements

- 6 months of car insurance

- letter from 2 friends

- pictures with my family and friends

- home loan approval

The home loan approval is good, also make wills, power of attorney and get life insurance policies naming each other as beneficiaries, small policies are only

about $20 a months, very doable and smart to have.

Join the crowd!

See my response in this current similarly-themed thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/557968-sufficient-evidence-of-bona-fide-marriage-for-i751/ , and the numerous recent others that I have posted since our ROC approval in May 2015. USCIS seems to have a "marriage bona fides since the inception of the marriage" penchant at this time.

YMMV

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Yes. Wills, medical powers of attorney, and similar documents make excellent evidence for ROC, and they're even more crucial to have in "life." Craft them now, for both reasons.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
