My wife had interview today unfortunately they gave her the yellow slip and told her to bring this.affidavit of support from petitioner or co sponsor form 1-864 submitt with IRS generated tax return from the previous year . I already submitted form I-864 with tax returns I didn't understand what they mean. Dwheels and others could help me understand this

What was the exact wording this is kind of confusing?

What I am guessing from what you wrote is they are asking for the tax transcripts. Did you send your tax forms? You can always email the embassy to get clarification but looks like they don;t want your tax forms they want your tax transcripts from previous year.

So you had i assume current year tax forms they want the previous year so if you gave them 2013 they want 2012. Personally I would order 2013, 102 and 2011 and mail with an original copy I-864 updated. Did she have an updated I-864 with her at interview?

I didn't send IRS transcript I only sent them tax return copies of the year 2013 only I didnt send them another year

Okay mystery solved. Get online now and get 2013, 2012 and 2011 now. Just get all 3 just so you have all and send all to embassy. Do they want a new I-864?

If not you can email the tax transcripts to your wife and she can print off.

Dhweels, this is the exact wording: affidavit of support from petitioner or co sponsor(form I-1864), submitt IRS-generated transcript of the tax return if the previous year, they put the part that says submitt transcript on bold letters

Just stopping in to say hello. CC was the 18th of March, so it looks like a May interview for us.

our interview is scheduled on the april 6 and our interview letter did not ask for the new returns. i spoke with my para legal lady she said to send my husband the copy of w2's, paystubs and employee verification letter so he can show that as the evidence if they ask

Like I said get 2013, 2012, 2011 they don;t like your tax forms get it to your wife ASAP. You might be able to have emailed to you immediately then send to her. Best to order all 3 and send just in case they say Oh we want current oh we want 2011. Have all 3 years.

I always advise people never use Tax forms many embassies do not like because it doesn't show proof you filed tax transcripts do.

Congratulations I have added you to the spreadsheet. Welcome to the group. Jamaica I have no idea whats going on with the embassy. I would gather they are just slammed busy. Remember the few on VJ that bother to report is just a little piece of the real population of applicants out there. I know I still have December folk waiting.

my question is she has only 2011,2012,2013 tax transcript.but our interview looks like in MaY 2015

will it be a problem that she doesnt have 2014 transcipt?

note: we have co-sponsor too.who is her brother,he has very good income.we have all his tax transcript including 2014

Well you can chance it for her abut be sure to at least have her 2014 W2. You have all your co-sponsors so that should be good. Hopefully.

Hi Guys...Interview is set up for April 29th! Starting to get everying organized and ready!!

I haven't filed my 2014 taxes yet..so I won't have a transcript. Will that be a issue?

I have a question...we had to move my husbands interview from the original date. Do I need to get a new interview letter with the new date? I called and spoke to AIS last night and he said no the letter was valid for a year? I did print off the instructions with the new dates etc (This if for Juarez).

I ask becuase you need your letter to get into your medical exam.
