My status changed to issued guys!!! Finally after exactly 15 days!! And one week exactly from AOS submission! Waiting to pick up the passport now!

My hubby had his interview today. He said that the interview went very well and that he will receive his visa once a medical requirement is completed and he turns in another phone log! I wish my hubby would have heard the magical words, "visa approved" today, but I will take a conditional approval!

will nvc start schueduling for interviews for all embassies from january or no? or can it still be possible they schedule it now for end of jan?

I don't think there's any more scheduling for January since we are almost at the end of month. They will start February scheduling 1st week of January.

My wife's interview was today at Islamabad embassy and she is APPROVED. I will provide details once i get a chance to talk to her in detail. thanks everyone for your prayers and support. I wish all of you who are waiting for their love ones unites soon.

Does my spouse need to apply for SSN after she reach US?

The card should come in 2 to 4 weeks but most people go to SS office after 2 weeks and apply.

Same happened here, mylawyer told me to call the consulate but i am really busy with work icant do it now!! :(

RobbieG had this same issue and after a few days he was able to do the biometrics appt. Maybe send him a PM and ask him if he did anything in particular?

Thank you for the info! Can't wait for the interview schedule. So right now, is just waiting for interview date? Can I do medical exam?

Usually you have to wait until you have your appointment letter to be able to do the medical. At least that's how it is for Mexico, not sure about your country, sorry.

Visa in hand!! :dancing: POE on December 24, 2014!!! WOW, the tears are coming now. My husband will be able to hold our son for the very first time! This has to be the best gift I could have received. I'm so thankful.

I know this part of the journey is very difficult. The waiting and more waiting. Love is everything for it has the power to change all things.

just wanted to ask 2 question:

I had sent a police record to NVC in the IV package. Will I need a new one to take to my interview?

Will the interview letter be email to me?

Congrats!!!

The police record is good for 12 months. If you will need a new one your letter from NVC will tell you.

The embassy emailed me our interview letter. If you don't receive it after your interview date is given you can send them an email and they will send you a copy.

Hi everyone, I just moved to this forum as I just got my CC :) I have a question though, does anyone know how long after CC it takes for Case check web site to switch from AT NVC to READY. ??? Also how long does it take to get the email from NVC ? Also is anyone here scheduled for Armenia Embassy YRV ?

What test is that??

when u have ur medical exam done, they do a chest xray. if there are suspicious findings in the xray, they do a sputum test to check if u have tuberculosis. Edited by j4rom
