Approved!... but worried

So I had my embassy interview this morning and I've been approved - yay!

BUT with all the excitement of it all I left with a big grin on my face and went outside to call my hubby. It was only when I was celebratory shopping on Bond St that I realised that I was never given this sealed packet thing that everyone talks about the I'm supposed to hand over at POE?! I was only given a disc with my chest xray on.

What do I do?!

12.13.2013 - NOA2 via email; I-130 approved. Shipped to NVC

NVC (274 days):

12.30.2013 - Arrived at NVC

01.27.2014 - Received case no. & IIN

02.07.2014 - Completed & submitted DS-261 form online

02.13.2014 - Paid AOS bill

02.18.2014 - AOS showing as 'paid'

03.18.2014 - Invoiced for IV bill (finally!)

03.19.2014 - Made payment for IV bill

03.21.2014 - IV bill showing PAID

Not yet, only had interview yesterday and CEAC changed to "issued" today so I hope email will come tomorrow, fingers crossed! And thanks for the tracking advice! X

The sealed packet and passport are delivered later by courier. Or you pick it up at the courier depot. That's what the courier instructions letter you brought to the interview is about.

Check on CEAC for when the status changes to "Issued". Right now London sends the packet to the courier about 1 business day later and then it is ready to pickup another business day after that.

Congratulations!

Edit: My wife's interview was on Friday and she just received her sealed envelope and passport back an hour ago.

Edit2: Take care of the x-ray results as you apparently need to hand those at POE along with the sealed envelope.

It is delivered by courier along with your passport/visa. They have to do the rest of the paperwork before they can hand over your entire file to you.

November 1st 2014: I-129f submitted for K1 visa

February 24th 2015: Visa in hand!

February 26th 2015: POE at Las Vegas airport, then onwards to Oregon! 

March 6th 2015: Marriage (with a "real" wedding to follow next year on 7/6/2016)

March 9th 2015: AOS, EAD & AP submitted

September 22nd 2015: Interview

January 14th 2016: Two year Green card received -phew!

ROC

August 8th 2017: 90 day window begins! ROC time!

September 28th 2017: Biometric Appointment in Portland, OR

March 5th 2018: Case received by local office

August 18th 2018: 18 month extension letter mailed

December 2018: Case moved to another office

February 2019: I was emailed that I was approved and my card was in production the same day of my N400 interview 😂

N400

August 8th 2018: Window opens to submit naturalization application

August 13th 2018: N400 Application submitted online 

August 14th 2018: NOA1

September 6th 2018: Biometrics

February 6th 2019: Interview Date! APPROVED!

1) Does anyone know how I track my visa/passport being returned? I can;t seem to find a case number to type into the DX website.

2) A BIG thank you to everyone who has offered help along the way. It's been a long and painful journey, but got there in the end. A special mention to Nich-Nick who has been invaluable when it comes to UK info.

Did you get your email yet with the tracking #? Please note that the link they provide you in the email doesn't work, so then click on "My Tracking" on the top left then enter your tracking # provided in the email, select that your document is being delivered to the UK, put in your post code and you will see the tracking info.

Hope this helps. You should have the visa in hand tomorrow. We got our tracking email yesterday at 9:45UK time and my hubby had the visa by 2PM UK time today.

Congratulations!!

I have my I terview appointment next week and trying to find out how the interview could be and how badly nervouse should I be.... do you mind Iif I ask you few questions out of your experience?

What kind of questions did the consular ask you?

How long did the interview take in total?

How long did they say it will take for them to issue your visa?

That's all I think of right now...
