I called NVC tonight (last week I called in the morning around 7:20am and waited 20 minutes) around 10:40pm. I waited about 45 minutes on hold but he told me the same thing that they told you usmsbow - we usually receive them in about 25 days. Last week the woman told me 5 weeks. Everything has been slow for us so I guess I will try again next week.

Hi there Ktered. I suggest you call again today, your approval date is the day after my approval date. I have read somewhere that these are received in bulks at NVC. Yours maybe in the same package as mine. I called this morning and got my new case number.... It doesn't hurt to try. :)

Good Luck to you!

I called tonight and the lady told me my case is going thru additional processing and for this type of processing there is no time frame and once completed it will be forwarded to embassy.......so more waiting?.

So I was just told the exact same thing.... I think its just a standard comment, based on VJ timelines, I believe it should leave NVC in a few days tops... Keep your fingers crossed! Good Luck! :)

Did you call today? My NOA2 was Sept. 15th and NVC received mine on October 1st and process and READY for interview at consulate on October 6th. I am trying to call consulate to confirm this, but CEAC website is saying it is READY for interview at consulate. Good luck and keep us posted.

When it's saying READY.. it means that the NVC doesn't have it anymore and it's actually at the embassy already. You can call them to confirm.. Probably they will send u soon the informations for u to schedule the interview.

:)

For those of you who have been waiting 4+ weeks for NVC to get your file (copied and pasted from another thread):

I talked to a very helpful person on the phone this morning. He told me that they should have received my case awhile ago, and asked me to send me a copy of my NOA2 to them, so they could contact USCIS on my behalf. He's pretty sure USCIS messed up- big surprise.

While I'm not too happy that's been almost a MONTH since my NOA2 and NVC hasn't received my file, nice to know at least someone at NVC has confirmed my worry and offered to assist in dealing with the hellish agency that is USCIS. :)

So if any of you are in a similar situation, you should ask NVC to reach out to USCIS on your behalf. While most NVC people will tell you wait 5 weeks, I'd say start getting pushy after 4 weeks...

So yesterday when I called NVC, they confirmed receipt of package on 10/6, and that it was going through administrative processing with no time frame.

Today I called and was informed that my package shipped to DR Consulate yesterday 10/8. It takes between 5 to 10 business days to arrive.

Just got off the phone with Cuidad Juarez Consulate and they have my file, however they show they have not sent package (these are really only instruction and not a packet per say) they advised I call daily if I wanted to know exactly when it was shipped. Getting closer and closer! :dancing::dancing: :joy: :dancing::luv::luv::luv::luv::luv:

So from what I am reading and looking at peoples timelines on here it takes anywhere from 10 -20 average to reach NVC. And If it takes more than that then it appears there is an issue and the servicing center may not have forwarded it or something.

So I guess anytime after ten days, is when I can realistically expect that the NVC will have my case. But it could take 15 - 20 days or even more, just like the NOA2, who really knows besides God how long it will take.

Just called NVC and they said that they've received my case from CSC today. They haven't assigned a NVC case number yet. My Case was approved back in 9/17. 22 days passed.
