Update:

On April 5th we received an email that our interview for April 7th was canceled (Santa Ana office). In the meanwhile we had moved to Atlanta, GA and decided it would be best to change jurisdiction to GA and not have to fly back to CA. We assumed we would be put at the back of the line for GA. But mid april we received a letter that our interview was scheduled for May 13th.

Had our interview yesterday, 35mins total, went well (I assume). Office told us to wait for card in the mail and that if she needed anything she would contact. Did not say approved or denied but since she mentioned card in the mail I assumed it went well.

How long after the interview does the USCIS website update and how long approximately does it take to get the card?

Thanks!

We received interview date June 2. The problem is our address change missed by a few days and our interview is a 1000 miles away. We got it on April 27. Called Uscis and talked to second tier person and they said they would contact California office who would contact Oregon office. Heard nothing in over 2 weeks. Should we be nervous?

I am December filer. I have been following Oct and December. We receive notice on April 27 that we have an interview on June 2. On April 22 I sent an address change for an address 1000 miles away from the interview. The notices crossed in the mail. We are now in process of trying to change interview location to Oregon. We figured if we have to go to California for the interview with travel costs and missed work it would cost us around $1300. Yikes. Hopefully we will hear something soon about the changed interview location. We are getting nervous.....They told us that by May 22 we should hear about the new interview time and place. Had to go to a second tier supervisor a couple of times. They seem to be efficient. One was a little cranky and one was very kind. Such is life.

I am still waiting on getting my RFE reviewed for my AOS. We interviewed March 19th and the IO said if we sent the RFE right away, she will review it and the quicker the decision will be made....now look, two months later and still no change or decision made....waiting and waiting...and more waiting. This is in Phoenix.

Ok, thank you all for the info - we thought there were probably many others in limbo right now. We also have had EAD and AP for some time now (since early March) and had been lucky with how fast our process was moving along, but it has hit a slow point at a critical time for my wife to apply to become a teacher. EAD works in many job areas, but apparently Permanent Residency must be officially obtained for the school district program.

Thanks again for everyone's responses.

It seems everything has ground to a halt we got the possible interview waiver letter but that said it could be 6 months?

Is it worth calling or will they just say your 6 months from the date of the letter is not up?

Card is in production! Overall, took 5 months with a change in jurisdiction. Not bad at all.

I got notice of potential interview waiver in April (after receiving EAD and AP in March) so I'm expecting GC;s to arrive in the mail maybe sometime in Oct or Nov...
