Okay so we received the "Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case" my question is how long did it take for you to get your Green card after receiving this letter form the USCIS?

Got the same letter yesterday. USCIS has just recently started to send those letters out to applicants (I saw the first people posting about them on here in early August), so nobody will be able to tell you for sure how much longer it is going to take. However, the letter states that there may be a delay of another six months ahead.

As far as I have seen, most Interview Waiver cases are currently taking between 8 and 12 months to be processed.

some of us had that letter since last year october and still waiting. It will be 12 months since we filled our case.So we welcome you to the club.

Oh no really?I thought its a sign that "hey your GC will arrive pretty soon" uhm. but yeah what else can we do but to wait

I contacted my both my senators and congressmen and the result they sent to them were the same. Saying my case has been selected as an interview waiver case and that could take up to 6-9 month. But here we are in the 11th month still waiting. some were lucky to get it earlier. All i can tell you is just wait and pray. People will tell you to do so many things, but i promise you nothing will actually happen.The USCIS is different.you can contact senators, congressmen and doing Info pass appointments, nothing will actually happen until they see it fit ti respond to you. All they care is the money we send.

Aw so we're having this club now haha.. we applied may 16th this year got my EAD with AP july. what about yall?

We applied in early March and got the EAD/AP in May. So it's been six months that I have been waiting in The Waiver Club.

I would have thought bypassing the interview would speed things up. When my wife did AOS we filed in July, had the interview the beginning of November, then 10 days later the GC arrived. Looks like doing the interview is the faster route...

Yes, the interview route is currently considerably faster than the waiver route. Go figure.

It certainly is starting to look like "dodging the bullet" by way of an AOS interview waiver, has some pitfalls. However, "running the gauntlet" of an AOS interview isn't always a walk in the park either.

One takeaway that I see with either AOS path is to apply for the EAD/AP (I-765/I-131) combo card in conjunction with the initial AOS packet submission. It appears that either AOS path can result in prolonged processing times, so if you foresee any need for work or travel during this trying time…apply for the free combo card (as described in the GUIDES). AND, if necessary, start the EAD/AP combo card renewal 90 days prior to expiration…., 'cause AOS can be a long time coming….
