NOA 1 for aos dated august 29th, biometrics completed September 26th. I 485 still shows as in acceptance stage on uscis website. EAD and AP show as initial review. Feeling a bit frustrated with the whole thing, we had to drive 4 hours there and 4 hours back to do biometrics and they can't even update a system! Sorry needed to vent, rant over lol!

I saw this thread and had to leave an encouraging comment. Good luck and best wishes for all of you that filed your AOS paperwork in August 2013. Pat yourselves on the back for successfully coming to this country and then submitting another mountain of paper, documents, and a wad o' cash in order to become Permanent Residents.

I cannot believe that it has been over one year since we initially filed out the AOS paperwork in August 2012. My wife and stepson received their Green Cards right after Thanksgiving 2012. Hopefully your Green Cards will arrive soon.smile.png The 21-month vacation away from USCIS is wonderful. You will get your chance soon. star_smile.gif

Hang in there. We are all just walking along our immigration journey. yes.gif

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

I had the interview today and my GC was approved at the site! YES!

We never gotten a RFE, so it must be the reason why my case was so smooth. Everything took only 3 months ;)

I've got my EAD card about 2 weeks ago and now I am having some job interviews!
I hope my post would give some hope to other August 2013 filers! Don't lose your hope.

I only get more frustrated with every week passing without any sign from the USCIS :/

Anybody here except who applied in the first half of August and hasn't heard a thing? My status never moved from Acceptance :/ It's not even Initial review! No letter, no notification, no invitation for an interview :/ I'm really bummed.
