Thanks for checking.Ok at people a PSA I need to do. I think we got a bit spoiled since January. Because honestly the 2nd week of the month was the usual interview scheduling. Like around now. But

Stevie B this is not true. You have said this before and its wrong. The embassy has no idea about us IR1/CR1 unless we are DCF or Expedite. NVC schedules for us okay not embassy. There is a calendar

I called the NVC around 11pm last night, spoke to a guy who was very straight forward with me. I told him that every day I have called there this week and usually twice a day every operator has told me something different. Ex, Aug is finished, Aug is still scheduling, Canada is finished....he told me that the operators have NO ACCESS to that type of information. I called the NVC around 11pm last night, spoke to a guy who was very straight forward with me. I told him that every day I have called there this week and usually twice a day every operator has told me something different. Ex, Aug is finished, Aug is still scheduling, Canada is finished....he told me that the operators have NO ACCESS to that type of information. He said that he has had no indication if they are finished scheduling or if it is still going.

I guess all we can do Canadians is keep calling next week like NikiR advised. I accept that they would leave Canada out of scheduling this month.

To be honest, the operators are people and I bet they get a million calls saying if there is an interview scheduled. I finally gave up calling every day, you're more tenacious than I was, because a rude operator told me that YES they send out the interview email THAT day so stop calling. I actually did receive it same day, maybe because of that conversation, I don't know.

Keep calling, every other day if you want to give yourself a break, or have your spouse call for a week instead, but eventually you guys will get interviews. I really am surprised that Canada had not thus far for Aug, but maybe the case loads for the previous months were high, or perhaps there are less interviewers due to vacations etc... I don't know. I can imagine how frustrating it is. I remember crying at work a time or two during the two week wait I had, so it must be even harder for you guys. This process is nothing but frustrating. You'll appreciate the end result even more though, look forward to the end, the hugs and kisses and days you never have to spend apart again. Remember this journey always, to better appreciate everything you have.

Did you guys ask for an expedite by chance?

Did you get a checklist and had to send some documents in?

Yes they have workers there on weekends since last june 2012 but they aren't open for calls. Seems they just added something to your file and sending you a email about it.
