Shop lifting is a Crime Involving Moral Turpitude or CIMT. Your AOS can be denied for that. That said, I don't know the specifics of your case so you're better off having a consultation with a good immigration attorney.

Topic has been moved from AOS from a family based visa entry forum to AOS from a work, student & tourist based visa entry as the OP is applying for AOS and already appears to be in the US.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

What visa did you arrive on ? If you originally arrived on a K1 and never completed AOS to that person you can't adjust in the states to another. Did you remarry the same person ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

To be honest, it will not be the smoothest of paths. Nigeria is known for people trying to play with the rules and you come as a visitor and quickly marry 2 different woman to stay. No matter how honest your relationship(s) are it will look untrue to immigration. Make sure you have a lot of evidence that BOTH marriages where true.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

1) Two fast marriages.

2) From Nigeria.

3) A CIMT.

You should consult with an experienced AILA-certified immigration lawyer asap.
