Hi everyone! Been lurking here for some time now while preparing my I-129 petition for my fiance. Thankful for all the wonderful people here helping one another, and helping those like me who lurked here for a while. My petition was received by the Texas lockbox on Januart 19th. Now on to the excruciating wait.

I may have an uphill climb before me so please send me some good luck when you all can :-). I have so many questions but will save those for later. Been worried too long that I missed anything so I just went ahead and sent the application off. Frontloading it might have been a mistake but I already did it. Some people say it's good, some say it isn't see. I guess we'll wait and see.

Thanks all!!!

Hi! Yes, it's sending more. I sent more photos, receipts, phone bills etc. Hopefully it doesn't backfire.

front-loading? Is that sending "more" than required information at the initial filing? I thought that the petition instructions asked for all of that stuff...???

Hi I haven't filed my I-129 yet but planning to do so late feb or early march. I'm already gathering all the stuff I can get and I am planning to kinda frontload too lol! They're only asking for 3-5 pictures but I'm sending about 48 to prove my fiance and I were together for the whole month of december(I printed the dates) I am also sending a bunch of letters from family, friends, and coworkers. And I'm planing to send a lot more so you're not alone in this front-loading stuff lol! I guess we just want to really be sure we have enough evidence.

@Lefcoastlady, how did you print skype logs? I've been trying to do the same..

Hi neighbor!

On the Skype logs, here's a pretty easy way to retrieve Skype's logs from your username's main.db file. http://stephanietan.boldersecurity.com/2011/04/analyzing-skype-chat-and-call-logs.html

You have to use Firefox, but it works on both Windows and Mac. I'm on a Mac and was happy to find a solution that worked for Macs! Once you pull the log, you can clean it up in a spreadsheet (Excel or Google Spreadsheets). Depending on what you want to print, you can just show the call logs or actually pull the chat messages. Hope this helps!

thanks for the information. I was doing screen shots of my conversations with time and dates and put everything in a word document...but going back 3 years of chat logs is too much. :bonk:
