Okay all here is the update from going to the Local Office.

I went to my appointment today and spoke with an Immigration Officer and was not happy about what I was told. In a nutshell, I was told that there was not much they could do since all applications go through the service centers. The only thing that they can do is what I have already done. Which was contact the service center and request an inquiry to the delay. But not everything was a complete waste. I was told by the IO that my case had been assigned to a new IO at the service center as of the 13th. When I checked the online status board it stated that my case was updated on the 14th.

So going to the local office does nothing for you except look someone in the face and getting the same news that you get on the phone.

OUCH!! Not a good sign. So i guess its not worth making an appointment with them. I will save the time and call the senator's office again next week to see what is going on. I only have till the 3rd, before i go see my wife again. I hope i get the approval before that.

hey everyone i am so tired of waiting but what i did was call the CSC number that was posted on vj and to our surprise we found out that our case is put a side and dont know why the women from CSc has my number and will call me as soon as she talks to the person that is handleing our case... I asked her if it could be cos of our last years petition she said possibly cos they put all the files together but she wont know anything til she talks to the person who has it.....this is crazy not even a notice of action or anything.....anyways as soon as i hear anything i will update have a good day everyone...just pray for us at this point...

we did the I-129F the fiance petition that was sent back to USCIS and me to i am wanting to know very badly why they would put our file other then the normal petitions...I will update as soon as i hear anything

Good grief Anthony! At least they were able to tell you a little something. A very litllllle something. I hope it gets resolved quickly! How absurd.

does anyone have an answer as to why the immigration timelines "estimated processing dates of common forms" says I-130 is processing around the 29 of April now, when we have only had one April approval? Did we skip all the April people and move on to May and June?

If it is the VJ timelines you are looking at they are dependent on members filling in their timelines. As a result the data does not always reflect accurate timelines.

Looks like CSC is really overloaded at this point. Dont know how it happened all of a sudden but not liking it at all. 134 days completed and still nothing

So what did you talk to CSC that they give your an answer about your case ? I mean I called and they just told me to call 800 no.

OH well today I finished 4 months exactly.......

well the women i spoke to i told her that i had been escalated several times and they never gave me smrt number and that they said that they e-mailed the CSC office and that i would hear something and i told her i did not hear so could they please please help me and she transfered me to another women and then i talked to her and she had two screens and she looked at both to see were our case was and then she told me they had it in a certain place and it was on hold and to give her my phone number and she would find out something and get back to me hopefully by friday or by tuesday and that is what happened

all you have to do is the same thing tell them what i told you i said to them and tell them you called the USCIS 1800 several times and they promised you that CSC would get in touch with you VIA e-mail and they havent yet... and remember to say that they never gave you a smrt number and you can say that you e-mailed them and you got no response and they should transfer your call to like mine
