Sidenote November: Waiting... USCIS website indicates 15 months to approval, Track My Visa Now indicates 11, but thinks that new applicants can expect approval after 6 months. Sidenote Januari: Waiting still, USCIS still indicates 15 months. Track My Visa Now approval expectations have gone down to approximately 9 months, new Applicants can still expect 6 Sidenote March: Waiting, End of the month will officially and exactly be 6 months of waiting. Any moment now! 2024, April 2 - Checked case status online: Case was APPROVED! 2024, April 3 - Checked case status online: Case was send to department of state (meaning: to NVC) Sidenote April: Fiancé Received the NOA2 Letter roughly a week after i found out the case was approved. official approval date was March 29th. I love how that is exactly 6 months later! NOA2 asked to wait 30 days before making an inquiry, i'm so sorry but i got impatient after all that waiting! 2024, April 18 - Case inquiry at NVC 2024, April 19 - Reply NVC: Case received. Case Number assigned: Starts with FRN (Frankfurt, Germany) Every day so far: CEAC Visa Status check: in Transit. OMG...it's on it's way?? 2024, April 23 - Received an E-mail From NVC! Case forwarded to US Consulate in Frankfurt. Besides our personal info and Consulate info, the E-mail also contained a link to website where to learn how to apply for the K visa and prepare for the interview. CEAC Visa Status check still shows: in Transit. Sidenote: I am having mixed feelings at this moment because 1st, this is all going so fast all of a sudden for which i am so exited, and 2nd, There's a lot of documents to gather and a lot of information to read. i am nervous i will miss something and get us delayed. Very easy to prevent by just reading carefully and follow instructions exactly! The waiting on everything is the worst so far. Will continue to share as many details as i can! Sidenote: Today , April 26, another CEAC Visa Status check: Ready! Expecting Packet 3 any day now. Started filing out the DS-160 yesterday, have yet to complete. We started collecting needed documents as soon as we got our approval, however, it may still take a week or 2 to have everything completed and ready to send. Since The consulate asks for Original documents, the affidavit of support with original ink signature needs to be send to my home address, which will take some time. If need be, i can always request an extendence of our approval, though i don't think we need it. All and all i'm expecting the medical and the interview to be scheduled somewhere end of June or start of July.	2024-04-26
