      that's good. Listen you will not get the dang SS card in th mail so take your self to the office.. sure your sponsor should know where to find this. EVEN if the option is checked.. you still aint gonna get get.. welcome to america.

      There are people who receive the SSN in the mail without going to the SSA office. If I still don't have it by 3 weeks after my POE, then yes, I'll go to the SSA office here in town; both my husband and I know where it is.

    Just ask the place where you were gonna get it. They'll know what kind of search they do.

    I'm not sure how it works in Pakistan, but in Canada, the police certificate does a nation-wide check. If Pakistan is the same, then you only need one PCC.

    Passed through POE yesterday morning. Easy as pie. Will write a review on what happened once I get to my destination. Currently in Ohio.

    They just want whatever you sent in :) Plus a copy of the DS-230 since they're not used to the online system yet. And don't worry about all the questions! I LOVE helping people! Whatever question you got, just ask me :)

    They wanted the original AOS package, so yes, I gave them the original I-864EZ that my husband had filled out.

    I checked 'yes' and explained I've had a vaccination record since I was born and had all up-to-date vaccines.

    I did EP, so no, I couldn't give the originals to NVC. But they want to see them at the interview, but they gave them back of course.

    I hear of a few cases where DHL calls to, but I haven't received any calls. I'll be calling them later to confirm that the package is indeed there and ready for pick up.

    Hi, I scheduled the location about 2 weeks before my interview. They emailed me last night saying they picked it up at the consulate. I'm going today to pick it up! :)

      Hi Saylin, I hope everything will be alright today at your interview. My mother is inside the U.S. embassy now in the Philippines and I am so anxious to hear from them so I am still here past 10:00pm waiting for an update.     For those that did an interview at Montreal, when you need to show the appointment letter before you're let in, do they just want to see the first page with date and time of interview or do they want to see all 4 pages?
