Thank you :) Good luck on your journey!

  3. Well, you're the one that added me, so thank you, lol.

  4. It'd be nice if I didn't have to re-take the tests as well. Maybe it will help that I've had a previous US driver's license from Florida, lol.

  5. Grats! Did you have to re-do the written and driving test? Sad that you had to hand over your Canadian license :(

  6. You're flying tomorrow! Have fun at POE :P Oh wow, your wife was lucky to visit you in the US!

  7. Just saw you got your visa back today! Grats! Does your wife live in Montreal?

  8. Just scheduled my medical at Medisys for April 6th. Next Wednesday! I'm already freaking out about the blood test (I hate needles). Any tips?

I'm not sure if it's the same for Mexico, but I know a PCC in Canada checks a nation-wide database, so no need to get one from each city/province. I just looked at NVC and it doesn't even look like PCCs are available for Mexico. http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_4881.html?cid=3622

      Goodluck Saylin!

  9. I wish you the best of luck! I'm not looking forward to getting a driver's license and bank account either once I get to the US. Although, I did have a Florida driver's license for about 3 years, so that might be easier for me to obtain.

  10. Saw you got an interview date, grats! When did you find out? Through an operator or an email? You should join: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302060-may-2011-montreal-interviews/ :)

  11. Since you have a May interview, want to join me over at a new thread I just started for May interviews in Montreal? http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302060-may-2011-montreal-interviews/

  12. Just started a new thread in the Canada forum for May interviews. Join please? :)http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302060-may-2011-montreal-interviews/

  13. OMG!!! YESSSSS! I finally know someone with the same date as me!! Yay!!! :D

  14. I got my interview date assigned earlier! May 3rd at 8am. Found out through an operator. No email yet though. Have you tried calling today yet? You might have an interview date as well!

  15. JUST GOT MY INTERVIEW DATE! MAY 3RD! AHHHHH :D :D

  16. They'll send both the petitioner and beneficiary an email (if you gave the email addresses over to an operator at the very beginning at NVC). Hope we hear something soon! It'd be great if we both got the same day ;)

  17. Hi! Just noticed you got CC on 3/10, same day as me! Have you gotten an interview date yet? I'm still waiting lol.

  18. Hey, when did you get the interview letter email? Was it today or yesterday? And at what time? *just curious*

  19. So, like three hours later, I realise I meant to say April 12, not May 12. I don't know why I thought 04 was May, lol.

  20. Just saw that you got an interview date for May 12. Good luck!

  21. Thanks. Interesting that in both our cases, the operator said our case was complete the prior business day compared to the AVR date.

  22. Thanks for the add!

Haha, get those things packed! :P And I'd be so giddy as well being that close to POE!

  23. I used to visit Plattsburgh all the time as a kid. Haven't been there in years though. My husband lives in South Dakota, so it will be about a 2 day drive for me. It'll be the first time I drive so far. The longest I've driven before was only 2 hours, lol.

  24. Definitely fast turn around time for that passport. I can't wait to see my own stamp in my passport! I'll be going through NY as well for POE, but not the Buffalo one, the one north of Plattsburgh and south of Montreal.

  25. Ahh, I was wondering why you had gotten it so fast.
