Well, by not giving your email addresses, then any correspondence from NVC will be sent by snail mail and will be slower. If you don't ask your IIN, you can't sign on the payment portal and pay fees. You'll have to wait for the first info package from NVC that has that info.

Yup, you just need your case number and IIN to sign in and pay invoices. Plus of course the banking info.

Even though I'm not in the USA, I'm the one that calls NVC. My husband isn't the one that does that.

Haha, definitely tell him to do that when he gets the IIN from the operator. Don't worry though, I had completely forgot to tell the operator too when I first got my case number cause I was too excited.

Hey, your husband only needs to ask for the Invoice Identification Number. The beneficiary ID number is only for those doing online forms which you're not eligible for.

The list looks great. If you have a co-sponsor though, they have to include a photocopy of their passport to show they're a US citizen.

Yeah, I was denied after we had been married. Didn't overstay my previous visa. Not worried about that at all, just that I'll probably get asked questions about it. I'm just worried a bit worried about the denials. And I've heard of the waiting. I won't mind that part, but I'm sure I'll be feeling nauseous the whole time! And I'll try to eat if I can, lol.

Thanks! I was denied twice back in August, so I'm sure that will come up at the interview, plus I also had a previous visa. Unfortunately, my hubby won't be there due to work, but it is both our first marriage too, and we don't have kids either. Glad to hear it went well for you and super quick!
