You mailed it to the Texas Lockbox.
From there, it was forwarded to either Vermont or California.
Your NOA1 should say which one.
If not, your case# tells you.
As I said: WAC = California, EAC = Vermont.
Actually, those are people who have not updated their timelines to show the correct service center.
Texas DOES NOT adjudicate I-129Fs. They are ONLY processed at California and Vermont at this time.

No, you applied for a Visa where the main condition was getting MARRIED in 90 days. You have to live up to that or the beneficiary needs to leave.

Your words. Not mine. That adjudicator is not taking in your fee.
I do not care who you know. I do not care how high up in your business you are. That means nothing to me.
This is the way this system has been for years. Stories of long waits happened long before Obama took office.
Be angry all you want. You've been angry for nearly two months, so why stop now? All you do is change who you're angry with.
Let me know how far this anger gets you.

I am by no means an Obama suporter but I dont understand why the president get 90% of the blame for 90% of the things he has no contorl over. I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt even know about USCIS. When will americans learn that thier presidents are more scapegoats then decision makers. We have a boat load of congress people and senators who affect our daily lives way more yet somehow the president is first to take flack, whether obama or bush or whoever. Do you really think Bush had some plan for USCIS that was better then the current? Or that Obama has a plan that is crappier then the last? Come on its not up to them. These institutions have thier own directors and managment.
Its more of a smaller budget then anyhting else, taxes keep going down but people want all these thigns to function better well they wont if we underfund everything. I dont blame USCIS or the President or Congress I blame the people who live in this country and pretend to be Americans and pretend to care what happens when all they really care about is themselves. People elect mayors, senators, reps, presidents, everyone of these people who dont do thier job we allow them to not do thier jobs. America is just a country full of hypocrites, just read through this thread and youll find a few.

No, you will NOT get an expedite simply because you went ahead and planned something you shouldn't have.

Then you shouldn't be applying for a K1 visa. You should go ahead and plan your big wedding, get married, and then apply for a spousal visa. The K1 wasn't intended to accommodate what you want to do. It was intended primarily for people who would find it difficult or impossible to marry in their fiancee's home country. Immigration law generally requires a petitioner and beneficiary to be related to each other. The K1 carves out a narrow exception to this requirement for people who can show that they intend to solemnize their relationship, and then gives them a limited window of time to follow through with that promise.

When I first filed, it was California that was working at a snail's pace while Vermont was speeding ahead. This happens every few months. It fluctuates. Sitting here, obsessively watching Igor's List is not going to change that.

We had a relatively trouble free process so far. Petition was submitted back when CSC was only taking about 3 months. There was a little hangup responding to packet 3 because a typhoon flooded my fiancee's house. We bucked the trend at the consulate, and her interview was only four questions (the first was "Do you speak English?"). The AOS interview was completely painless - the IO was very friendly and seemed to enjoy her work.
In retrospect, everything was much smoother than I expected. I don't credit luck for this. I credit good preparation, knowing what to expect at each stage, knowing what the weak points were in our case, and how and when to address them, and the confidence of knowing we had a backup plan at each stage in case we failed. VJ provided all of these things for us. If it weren't for the collective experience of everyone on this site, there's no way it would have been as easy for us. There's a wealth of knowledge here for anyone willing to learn.
    Thanks, VJ!

    I cannot believe this thread.
People complained, rightfully so, when VSC was terribly slow.
Now, VSC sped up, made up a LOT of ground last week, approved nearly 70 petitions, and ... still complaints.
    You can't have 20 approvals a day.
Stop obsessing over the numbers, life your life, and the NOA2 will come.

From a data analysis standpoint we are not a very good sample at all. In particular, we are not random. VJers are people who have computer access on a regular basis, we are probably more proactive than the average joe. We are also people who for the most part filed the cases ourselves. And we are those folks who just happened to come across this site in the process of filing, actually set up an account and updated a timeline. Not random at all! In any case, good luck!

The best advice anyone ever gave me during this process was 'stop obsessively pouring over the "statistics"'. There are definitely people in this thread who are spending way too much time trying to make sense of these numbers. This will get you no where. Just wait until the 5 month mark and bring your senator into the mix if you don't have your NOA2 at that point. In the meantime, find a hobby.

I think you're coming off as quite rude, kinu4real. Nobody's jumped on your post, people are simply asking for clarification on what happened in your case so that in the future, they can AVOID giving false or misleading information to people.

Well, obviously your frustration becomes rudeness then! Jim has contributed an enormous amount of good, useful information to this website FREE of charge and in his own FREE time. You are the one who is jumping on posts now! If you are not satisfied with the information here-look elsewhere! Sometimes mistakes are made. Like Jim said, we are not lawyers. Everybody contributes what they can to make this website what it is and if you are more informed on a certain matter-share it by all means, but in a non criticizing manner!

Go Vermont! I attempted to tell the naysayers on this board that this is what would happen, that Vermont would speed up and California would likely slow down - as they always fluctuate.

Well, it was only a matter of time before this thread took this turn. Unfortunately, simply congratulating someone (who never even asked for an expedite, so everything is completely out of their control) seems to be impossible.

Because the nail that sticks up gets hammered. Al, on this board, you stick up a lot. While I have appreciated some of your rants, please take this thread as a lesson on where that gets you.
Now, I am going to add my own two cents because with all your rants, I am thinking, 'Why not?'
I have been waiting longer than you for my NOA2. I have tried to wait patiently while maintaining all the love in my relationship (a nod to Baron and all his attempts to break people up that are frustrated by the wait). It's been hard to say the least. We have had a lot of arguments, off days and just plain depressing times. Today, we were rewarded with our approval. I have tried to channel all that negative energy into every positive outlet that I could. Some work, some don't but nevertheless, we made it. You can too. Take all that rage and do something with it instead of ranting on these boards everyday. The best thing I did was take a break from here and when I came back, VSC was moving again. Maybe you can do the same.
Now, one last comment about your post. I met my fiance for the first time in person right where this asswipe set off his bomb. I assure you, my first thought was not how to expedite my visa. I was fielding calls from my family who were trying to make sure she was ok. My only concern was for her and her sister. I get your frustration and I appreciate the fact that you see your mistake but FFS, take a yoga class or something.

I am still left with the impression that if you had not been in the situation but only heard of it, you would not concider this as a necessity. Forgive me for saying so because I do indeed understand your frustration.
That being said, it's a sensitive matter since you're not talking about immigration in general but only a small percentage of it which you feel lost in. Again, you have my empathy but you will have to argue that the K1 deserves more attention than any other petition. It is hard to prove when your constitution and laws are built upon the rights of citizens, not the rights other future immigrants have. Proof and facts that the waiting time is "extreme hardship" on US citizens is just as important as establing proof that the petitions are collecting dust throughout those est. 5 months.
Personally, I'd want to see improvements within the USCIS in the future so others being a part of the process have a smoother visa journey. But as of right now feeling stuck in the middle of it there is nothing I can contribute with to getting a better service - but I do have the priviledge of entering the US as a tourist. And my fiancee do have the option of visiting me during this process. I'm not going to take that for granted despite I agree it's a slow, tough and at times painful process for the majority not being united "for good".

This is correct, IF their congrats was genuine. If someone came up to you and said, "I am soooooooooo happy for you" between clentched and gritting teeth, would you think they were being serious? Or would you read it as sarcasm. I totally read their post as sarcasm. I don't see it as a genuine post whatsoever.
If they are trying to vent frustration, then they should leave it to the many ranting posts we have around here already. Leave the OP with their good news and don't make them feel bad or at fault for it. There are places to vent frustration and irritation. At a person who did not put in an expedite request but got their NoA2 real fast.... is NOT the proper place.
    To the OP, CONGRATS again!

Sweet Ali. Non of this is your fault. All you did was send a package, you said you expected to have to wait 'till summer to hear anything, but you got a great news: You were approved in 16 days! You didn't look for it or ask for USCIS to take so long with other people's NOA2's.
Don't be ashamed to be happy, don't be ashamed to feel Joy!! I, as a January Filer, am so happy for you. I hope you guys have a long life together, with lots and lots of caring and tender moments.
    Lot's of love for you!!
    And again, don't feel bad.
