No problem. I'm glad she was approved. I've read about other VJers not getting approved but I'm not sure why since we're all newcomers.
After about 5 months they raised the limit to $750 and then to $2,250. The APR is high and late fees expensive but the point is to use the card to build your credit, which is what I've done.

EITC is redistribution of funds. Confiscating funds from one person and giving it to another person, period. It is welfare.
The others need not exist at all. Do away with tax on income.

The difference here is, if the government didn't take your money in the first place, then you wouldn't have to figure out ways to get it back from them.
All of those programs should be non-existant. If you're income is too low for you to get money back from certain programs, then the government shouldn't collect that money to begin with.
The whole idea of "tax refunds" every year is absurd...
"Oh look, we're the government and we're broke, and we have all this money we take in, but we give most of it back..."
Yeah, makes a whole lot of sense.

I have never suggested "getting back" to anything. Typically what Libertarians suggest is completely new using the constitution as a basis. Also it is a fallacy to think we want no government. Actually we expect the government to protect our rights and do those things that are best done by government, but not more. Typically the goals of the LIbertarians are distorted and then attacked.
I also do not expect Libertarian goals to be achieved fully anymore than Republican or Democrat goals and ideals are ever met. But what is wrong with an ideal?
For example, I am not opposed to welfare to help our fellow man, as many Republicans are. I AM opposed to welfare with no program to eliminate the NEED for welfare. welfare, YES. Help, YES but at the same time a path to independence which must be followed in order to receive "help". Food stamps PLUS enrollment in school, WIC PLUS a job where one gains experience. Individual liberty and individual responsibility are the GOAL, those that cannotmeet that goal now should be assisted in reaching it, not made dependent in order to get their vote. Not ignored in order that they contribute to other ills.
Resistance t Libertarians is always based on distortion becuse the other two parties are not being honest, they are protecting what is theirs, the power they have. It is not for OUR benefit that they oppose Libertarianism.

I have read so many of your posts and it seems a great injustice that you have been treated this way. You have been through so much already.
I so badly wanted to respond to some of your early posts, especially the latest one about how your spouse had changed but I just did not know what to say or truly what I thought the right action was.
I really do hope you followup and report him as commiting fraud. I hope he is deported and I truly hope he is banned from the US so that he may never do this to anyone else.
Try to get as much evidence as you can to prove that is was a fraudulent marriage, keep a record of these forums and your posts these might help as you have documented his actions, keep a record of his family contacting you and offering you money to not report him, surely that is ILLEGAL as well. Call them, email them, get proof. Can you get any of his friends to sms you saying something to the effect of "he was just using you for the visa", it sounds like you already have that.
Try not to be sad "knowing you will not wake up next to him" you now know what he is really like. You DO NOT want to wake up next to a liar, fraudster and someone so calous as to use someone as seemingly lovely as yourself!

I am sorry to hear this. My suggestion would be to communicate explicitly with him about his behavior and lay out your expectations. Ask him to act in a mature manner and tell him to address these issues that you are experiencing. If he responds in an immature fashion, you will know what to do.
What is important to sustain a relationship is not love or chemsitry or anything else like that. What is important is the character of the other person. If they are of a good character and they respect you then they will work towards the betterment of your relationship. If a person only thinks about themselves and their rights and what they want then you will know that no matter how much you try and compromise on things you will never be able to satisfy them. You know your husband better than all of us. You will know what needs to be done.
