Ya'll do realise there's massive backlogs at most field offices for processing right? I filed July 2016 and haven't had my interview yet. I have the notice of the date - but it took me 8 months to get it. Zooropa is the only one out of four of you that has a legitimate cause for concern.

Interview done and done! Passed the 6 questions of the civics exam, read a sentence, wrote an answer and the rest of it was just running through basic questions relating to my life and my relationship with my husband. Passed and recommended for approval so now we wait for the oath ceremony date. My interviewing officer was a really nice guy, and I'm very very relieved that the interview is done! Good luck those who still waiting for this stage of the process to be done.

I didnt have an interview at AOS or ROC stages. My timeline is below.

Field Office : Dallas, Texas
PD : June 28
 
I had my interview yesterday in Dallas, Texas. Appointment was at 8:45am and I entered the security around 8:10. There were about 10-15 people in the waiting area. 
 
I was called around 9:10am. Very smooth process..my name was called by a nice IO..made me take a oath..he asked for my green card.. asked me 6 civic questions.. asked me to read and write a sentences.. confirmed my current address.. my school and all..asked about 10-15 YES NO questions from N400 application.. Done..
 
However, I received "a decision cannot be made at this time" form. I asked him if everything is okay with my application and he did assure me that everything is good..His manager has to review my application and it generally takes about a day.. I am just waiting for the update on oath ceremony.. 
 
Overall, it was a very smooth process.. Good luck to all of you.

Oh no I'm so so sorry to read this  I know how excited you were about finally getting the interview date. I don't know the answer to your question but good luck to her the second time around.

Congratulations @SBB - since I'm the first of the three of us to be interviewing through Dallas for July filers I guess I get to be the guinea pig lol.

I rang them on Friday and they confirmed it was an error but it would not be fixed until tomorrow at the earliest.

I wish I could do something about it.. I promise you, as soon as I hear something, I will let you know.. I am checking my case status like 10 times a day.. I am like 2 days behind peachtree.. hopefully they will schedule my interview soon..

PD means Priority Date. You can see that on your I-797 letter. 
 
Normally your PD is about 2-3 days after you send your application. Hope this helps.

Definitely, I will let you know as soon as I hear something on my case. It should not be that far now... I know someone who filed on June 9 has been scheduled for Interview. They received the notification about 3 weeks ago..hopefully we will receive something very soon..

Yes they definitely take way too long! I have hopes of going on vacation mid-May so Im really hoping to have citizenship and oath over and done with before I leave!

ROC congratulations letter arrived completely out of the blue today, 3 months before I was expecting it. No interview, no RFE just a congratulations your new green has been ordered!!!

I've just filed in the past 2 weeks and I included our baby's birth certificate among other things. Have a look at the link in the Vanessa&Tony signature for Vanessa's list of documents used for filing. I found that super helpful and was able to put my papers together in about 3 hours using that as a guide!

Back in the States after a 2 week trip to Australia. Husband and baby's first visits and it was just wonderful. The weather, the beaches, the family - true bliss! Loved coming back and getting pulled to the front of all queues at LAX as US Citizens (hubs and bubs are), funny being the only one in the family being fingerprinted though lol.
Sigh - back to reality. Time to start saving for a wedding there next year. I do love Australia still

I've got the big ultrasound this coming Thursday - should be able to find out the gender which we're very excited about.
Someone told me to drink a can of coke beforehand to hype up the baby so it's not asleep and then there's a good chance we'll be able to see its private parts - problem is I keep getting a vision of a cartwheeling blob waving its willy at the camera and get a severe dose of the giggles

OMG I have heard it all now. I was in Australia and I had a damm 16 hour difference in time with my now husband.And with daylight saving we had 14 hours. Gee you have 1 hour aaww I am sorry but this infuriates me and you are upset because you can't get his Dad to expedite because he works for USCIS.
Somer people on here wait months and some years and they keep their relationship going because they love one another and want to be together. the time apart is a small drop in the bucket on the large scales of things when you will be together for the rest of your lives. Yu need to keep positive is all I know it is hard but it is worth it.
