I have an 86 Honda Crx, with almost 190,000 miles on it... I hope someday to upgrade to something at least in the 90's but for now.....

Reasons to Drive An Old Car.....

1. Never need to wash it ( it would look the same anyhow)

2. You can enter the car Dukes of Hazzard style ( yep my passenger side window never rolls the whole way up)

3. You can customize the car with bumperstickers.

4. Duct Tape is My Best Repair Tool

5. My mechanic feels sorry for me and never charges me for minor repairs.

6. Insurance is way low, and I can just carry liablity.

The scales are fibbing... When I ate a whole family sized bag of Almond m and M's I lost lbs. Now that I am eating fruits and veggies and exercising i gained lbs.... I guess my body will have to adjust to the shock...

We'll see where we are by next Monday... I went swimming again today.....

Yep, it sounds like we got it, Anton and I are both depressed at times. We're together which is good. Depression comes in the fact that I have no choice but to slave for the next few years as his sponsor and he's stressed cause no work permit, he can't go anywhere to get out of the heat, and he's trying hard to deal with all this....

I know exercise helps alot and good music....

Feeling a bit surly today myself. I wasn't going to get into this Immigration Rut again, but after reading today's paper and Tucson''s bragging that they have been working in this city for 10 years illegally and hoping to get a free ride into legal citizenship I am a bit pissed....since we have been working on this ####### for the last 2 years and Anton still does not have a work permit!!!!

I remember reading somewhere on my husband's Biometrics appointment that if you had a cut or other health issue to call INS and reschedule the appointment. How deep is the cut? Did you need stitches? I would think it would be healed up enough in ten days not to mess up the prints...

I went swimming today!!!!

I am just interested if the boycotts, protesting did anything to effect anyone's day.

Tucson had power surges around the city all day. Power would go out for 15-20 mintutes at a time.

We had a power outage at school around lunchtime and the cafeteria staff said they couldn't serve the kids lunch.

The children rioted!

I think the power surges were caused more from people running air conditioners today for the first time more than anything else....

in Hawaii it's Lei Day. On this day shcool children and adults make and wear leis to school or work and have a contest determining whose lei is the most lucky, luscious and or ludicrous.

It's also subversive folk music day, so listen to your favorite folk artist.

It's also Beltane, so go ahead and dance around the maypole or take flowers to friends in baskets.
