I have never smoked, but lately crave a cigarette, is that weird or what.

I was just going to order a free back of American Spirit Cigarettes over the internet.

Which is a worse addiction?

Smoking- will I loose weight.

Drinking- just feel sick in the morning

Eating sweets- gaining too much weight

Sex- definately can help me loose weight.

I don't have cable and I don't watch Tv that much. I watch Fox most often since they show an hour of Seinfeld every night at 6-7 PM.

I work at a school age care program so it's kind of nice getting some appreciation from parents and other school staff. I do love the kids.

Iwas thinking back to a teacher that really touched my life and thought this would be an interesting topic to post stories about.

My teacher was Mrs. Shore, 9th grade English teacher. She always made learning fun. We learned our parts of speech to songs she made up, like Adjectives... to the tune of Rolling On the River, and Infinitives to the Tune of Another One Bites The Dust.

She also was into Shakesphere. She introduced me to the world of Shakesphere by giving us a free trip to Penn State University on a Friday night to see McBeth . This was a big thing for kids from a small, rural high school. We did have to do extra credit work to earn the trip,of course.

We also staged our own McBeth scenes. I will never forget the guys who did the scene as the three weird sisters and used muppets, like Animal, Ms. Piggy, and Gonzo as the spirits.

What great memories of a great Teacher...

He has been with me for 16 years now, it sure is hard seeing him aging and wondering when that fateful day will come that I will have to be the responsible pet owner and do the final deed. But, for now he's sweet, lovable and he's always there when I come home from work...

I am thankful for my friends when I go on one my drama queen binges they are there to listen and give me a hug and support.

I am thankful that Anton and my 88 year old friend was not injured or her car messed up in a fender bender on Saturday, and I didnt' smush the kid who jumped into the crosswalk in front of me.

I am thankful that Anton got his EAD and I hope he can figure out what he wants to do with it..

Update to Despearation.....

We went last night to the premire, the movie is a little cheesy in places, but overall it satisfied. It followed the book quite well.

We got to hobknob with the actors.... Ron Pearlman was sitting about 2 rows ahead of us, laughing his head off at his portrayl of Entegan.

The ABC production will be on May 23...

We had a small get together for our hiking club, Potluck, out at Sabino Canyon recreation area. Everyone brought delicious food, and one lady made homemade Margaritas..

Of course we had an immigration discussion as many of our club members are from Europe.

One lady read the history of Cinco De Mayo. The French brought Maximillian in to rule Mexico from Austria.

The Mexicans finally executed him and gained independence. The battle of Puebla fought on May 5 was just a small victory in the history of Mexico against France.

Well since this is my first marriage,and I have been very independent all my life and turning 40. Anton and I have our own private bank accounts and one joint account. Since I am working right now and have two jobs one check goes into my account, his personal money from Canada is his for his building project, and my other job goes into our account and he matches it.

I guess everyone would have there own arrangement that works for them.

We have little expenses except for food, rent, phone, and car insurance and he is helping me pay off my credit cards that I acrued expenses on prior to our marriage as he wants me to be debt free in the next few years..

I had my 20 year HS reunion on 04... It was nice seeing my old friends, like one post said, cliques never changed so the jocks and cheerleaders were together, us band kids, ect.....

It was cool though to stand up to all the kids who intimidated me in H.S. and say hey I look better than you and I actually went far away from this hometown to do it... I grew up in a small, rural, hick coal mining town in central Pennslvania...

I drank alot so be prepared to take a taxi home....

Well I have heard stories of Gay men marrying a hetrosexual woman for the Green Card.

I guess it could be pulled off , I have lots of gay guy friends... I have been unfortunately attracted too and very disappointed to know that they were gay.

I also have a couple of Lesbian friends, so maybe they could do the same with a guy.

Actually most of the people I know where once married and then realized after they were homosexual, so maybe that just makes them bisexual...

Yeah I read about that.... the crime smuggling yourself across the border if caught.....

The sad thing is the truck loads that come through everyday and get into horrible accidents on the freeways.

Who pays for it.... me and you ..... tax dollars or it's written off, if the injured leave the hospital without being arrested first....
