Many parents are shocked by a choice to not go American in the choice of a spouse. Many grew up when half the world was considered a threat and instead of practicing recycling they practiced air raids and bomb attacks. My schools as a child had air raid shelters. One of my sisters spent a year sending me articles about scammers. You have to hold to your dreams and let your parents know you understand their concerns and are glad that they care but that you have thoroughly thought this through and plan to proceed. Tell them you hope they will support you in the next phase of your life, but that you will go forward without their support if you must. Be prepared for a cold period as your parents test your resolve a bit more but keep to the path.

By calling attention to the offending material you only give it more hits giving the offending poster the effect they wanted, and sometimes the offending material is deleted so there is no learning to be had.

You have whatever party your budget affords. It may mean a few people at the house for a cake and a movie or when my BIL did my sisters party the invite came with plane tickets for out of town guests. Spending money you can't afford to impress people who will gossip about your party once they left if a horrible waste of money. If the child is under 3 they really don't give a darn and the money would be better placed in a college fund.

If the house is your residence you may not be allowed to use it's value because there is a clause about undue harm to the sponsor ( as in where would you live if you sold it) Maybe you can get a second job for a bit to push your income a bit higher.

If she would still be legally married to her first husband in that country still is still legally married to him here. Different countries have different methods of terminating a marriage but running away usually isn't one of them. She really needs to file for a divorce in her home state, serve him by public notice and then remarry her current husband. Not only is bigamy an issue but benefits collected for spouse number 2 can be considered fraudulently gotten ( my ex got into trouble for this , it wasn't a bigamy charge that caused him headache , his employers insurer asked for him to return all benefits she had taken )

So planning ahead you just got married and assuming you have just gotten your AOS. In 3 years you can get your citizenship. You can apply for your Mother/father then that should take about a year. When they arrive they will be able to get citizenship in 5 years , they can then apply for their sibling which will take about 10 years. The sibling can then bring the child ( your cousin) So 3 years plus 1 year plus 10 years , minus 9 months means you should conceive in 13.5 years if you want you cousin to baby sit.

The time when age difference makes the biggest issue is in cultures where it is VERY important that a man produce a child, especially a male child and the USC is peri/post menapausal.

I guess asking a question means it is ignored like the advise you have already been given. You have so far ignored the rules for filing a petition, ignored the requirements for a petitionable relationship, ignored what we have offered, ignored the question I presented in response to you request for a question about facts. You can ignore us all you want. But ignoring the rules and requirements is just causing you to throw your money out the door. I hope the fantasy togetherness is good enough for you ,because your refusal to work in the rule and regulations is going to make it so that phone sex is all you are ever going to have. Personally I think we have all wasted too much time trying to show an extremely reality challenged person where the issues are. When you really want to know come and back, until then enjoy your pretend sleeping together , it is all you are elgible for.

Have you talked to his parents ? It will be important that you be able to show pictures with his family. Personally a fiance visa is more apt to be approved. With the large age difference and in the perimenapausal age group you have enough red flags without adding marrying within days of meeting. IF you are spending more than a month there you could possibly pull off the marriage visa but otherwise you are in for a harder path. Also if the K1 ends up disapproved then you have the option of getting married on a second trip and immediately making a second attempt. If you are married you are looking at dealing with the governments review speed and it could be much slower. There are woman that married with large age difference in Nigeria and they are separated for years waiting on reviews. Many people think that being married is a better proof to get your visa but for people with more than one or two red flags it is usually just the opposite.

If he has a ban he is not eligible for ANY visa to the US. So applying for a tourist visa would be like throwing money down the toilet.

Here is a very unconventional VISA for you. Due to the circumstances of your case .. it might be something you could get approved with the birth of the baby on the way. He could apply for the tourist visa and you could try this.. often they deny the tourist VISA because of Immigrant Intent.. but if you don't mind blowing some dough and a bit of time, write a convincing letter and request the VISA using this method. The worst they could do is say no, and the 3 year bar he has will continue to "toll" apparently while he is here in the US if its approved.

Round trip is fine. The 2 site I found had the best rates between Africa and the US are kayak and vayama If you go round trip make sure to cancel the return portion. Someone recently had some sort of heart ache when the airlines reported that he left on his return ticket when in fact he hadn't.

The OP is from the Philippians , where the wait for a sibling is a bit over 23 years and that would be after she gets to be a citizen which is at least 3 years away.

You did not apply for any credit and you owe no one anything. Be very very careful not to agree to any payment plan they offer because that may make it appear you are accepting the debt. File a police report. Your brother may end up arrested over it , and he will probably have to at least pay these people off but it isn't your problem, he didn't care a darn about you when he used your ID. This site has info for you Credit card identify theft If you are unwilling to report the crime you will have to pay the bills.
Here are the instructions for the debt collectors.
Debt collectors. If debt collectors try to get you to pay the unpaid bills on fraudulent accounts, ask for the name of the collection company, the name of the person contacting you, phone number, and address. Tell the collector that you are a victim of fraud and are not responsible for the account. Ask for the name and contact information for the referring credit issuer, the amount of the debt, account number, and dates of the charges. Ask if they need you to complete their fraud affidavit form or whether you can use the FTC affidavit. Follow up by writing to the debt collector explaining your situation. Ask that they confirm in writing that you do not owe the debt and that the account has been closed.
Under new provisions in the FCRA, a debt collector must notify the creditor that the debt may be a result of identity theft. (§615(g)) The FCRA also prohibits the sale or transfer of a debt caused by identity theft. (§615(f)) For additional information on dealing with debt collectors, read our Fact Sheet 27, which has a section for victims of identity theft at www.privacyrights.org/fs/fs27-debtcoll.htm#8

NO if you don't have a EAD then your "company" would be guilty of illegally hiring a non authorized person. If they hire your company then you would be responsible for verifying your worker in the US was authorized and paying that person SS and medicare. The card will come quickly enough. Don't start your life here by trying to evade the laws.
