This is divorce court- nothing to do with immigration or the I-864 or USCIS. Her lawyer is using that as a sort of "pain and suffering" story to get more money. You need a lawyer to fight ridiculous claims. You did the right thing. She should not be here and spousal payment for a short term marriage is silly.

I guess those 21 viewers don't have any information for you. You asked the question about an hour ago. You can't expect everyone who views your post to be an expert. Be a little more patient.

I don't believe the purpose of such questions is to have a correct answer, rather the purpose is to see how to interviewee handles such questions. I also don't believe responsing to all questions accruatly is necessarly a good thing. My opinion.

First of all, the first thing to know about White American Queens is you never talk about White American Queens. But, we'll break the rules this time for educational purposes.
White American Queens are irresistible. They can be found in a variety of natural habitats, including, but not limited to: online, clubs, at home, Earth, and possibly the international space station. They are sometimes elusive. White American Queens, also known as WAQ for short, frequently display bouts of sarcasm and silliness.
Actually, you can. I knew someone who did. It's not common though as far as I know.

Pfft. I totally thought that imams were chained to the mosque with a ball and chain, and that they only had it removed for showers. Now my image is ruined.

Nobody said "it seems like some people never learn."
You asked, you received several answers.
Just because you don't like the answers, or because they don't comply with your personal timeline, doesn't make them any less relevant.

The point I was trying to drive at is that you have NO control over whether your husband's case is put in Administrative Processing. It is pointless to worry about it now because you have ZERO control over it.
Edit: I've been on this forum a few months and the only time I saw a case recently where an Egyptian didn't have AP was because he was Christian.

Just curious...what is special about Morocco, specifically, that makes their "good" men superior to "good" men from other countries? Is it the accent? The skin? The smooth moves? Are they more romantic? Do they take the garbage out with more finesse? They can make a mean mutton tagine? I must know this secret!!!

And the USC doesn't know that her husband had applied and was denied a visa?
If that's the case, then USCIS did her a good favor by denying him.

Thursday is the day my husband will finally be a US Citizen. It'll be mostly low key. The kids will be at school/daycare and I took the day off of work. We'll go to the ceremony at the Minneapolis Convention Center and then out to lunch at a turkish restaurant afterwards. I full expect to cry the entire ceremony LOL I remember how far we've come and everything we went through to get to this point. I first filed the I-130 in February 2003 and now we'll finally be finished with USCIS for good.

I am going to assume your are serious in your comments..
There is no need to have been brought here to qualify for DACA. Also it seems that ages can be fudged, especially when you are by definition undocumented.
Nothing to do with conscience, a lot to do with votes.

Regardless, the parents willingly broke the law. If my father stole to feed his children, or give them a better life, should he not have to receive punishment merely because it would affect me? Should I be given some special treatment? Who is wanting to punish the children? I'm not saying lock them up. Let them go back to their country of origin and apply for a visa legally like everyone else. If that causes major problems in their life, don't look at the U.S. govt. to bail you out. Look at your parents who got you into this mess.
And my father did not commit a crime. I was using that as an example, hence the /sarcasm. Parents do bad things all the time that affect their children. It's called LIFE.

You should be blaming the parents who came here illegally with their children in tow. Children who grew up here, went to school here, and are here by no fault of their own. These children want the opportunity to remain in the only place they know as home. Our government has a conscience...I find no fault in that. Obviously you don't know the first thing about this legislation. You are being selfish because it may take your case a month or 2 longer to get through USCIS, oh boohoo. Your case and check being lost has zero to do with Deferred Action.

It's clear you don't know anything about the Deferred Action Program. Go learn something since you will be waiting, waiting, waiting (like all the rest of us) you have time on your hands: http://www.dhs.gov/deferred-action-childhood-arrivals .
FYI wait times are long from a combination of factors, not just this new program. It is mostly because USCIS has laid off half their employees and dramatically cut funding in the last 2 years. That you can thank Congress for.

So it's Obama's fault the post office lost your petition? Lolz. He's only one out of a long line of recent presidents who have supported gutting spending on federal agencies, like the post office and USCIS. Are you even sure it got lost? What information has USPS given you?
If it is in fact gone forever then YES you should cancel or put a stop payment on your money order and send a new packet. This is why the guides say to make a complete copy of the petition packet in case something like this happens.
Chill out and try again. Chances are this is not going to be the last time this immigration process frustrates you.

I was getting worried before the interview and asked to see if others had any experience or advice with Egypt specifically.
I really appreciated the advice and everyone who kindly took the time to respond. I may not have followed the advice but I definitely appreciated it.
I posted a reply just to provide my experience for others who may have the same question in the future.
My fiance and I plan to post a review as soon as we have a chance. The CO told him that everything looks good but his petition is in administrative review and that he should check the website after a week. He asked him if he needs his passport and my fiance told him that he doesn't so they kept his passport. My fiance mentioned that they did not look at anything that he brought with him (papers or pictures) and that it was a comfortable interview.

Well... piercing brown eyes and already-a-citizen aside, maybe you should give yourself some time to fully get over what just ended before you start something new. Rebound relationships don't have such a great success rate. Nothing wrong with being friends, I guess... but what's the rush to get your still-healing heart all tangled up again so quickly ?

no, condescending is harping on and on about visits you think should have happened prior to interviewing when the OP has gone into detail in the past about her life circumstances that prohibited her from having more time to spend with her husband in morocco. actually, it's more than condescending, it's really pretty shitty. there's nothing she can do to change that now. there's not even any way to assert that that is what is even responsible for their denial in the first place. and it's irresponsible as all get out, throwing out stuff like "You really should have had at least 2 extended visits before even attempting to file, especially through Casa." oh, really? you don't know that, i don't know that, no one knows that. member experiences in casablanca, and successful beneficiaries receiving visas in casablanca run the whole gamut. i would certainly hope no one would tell people that meeting once and getting married that same time is going to be a sure approval, but no one is in any position here to tell anyone that those circumstances of course mean a denial is inevitable either. stop pigeon-holing. there are all kinds of issues that can come up in interviews that need resolution before visas can be issued that have nothing to do with time actually spent together. the OP's case may, or may not be one of them. maybe a visit soon will help. maybe it won't. the consulate might be overly hung up on the OP's husband's friend's visa issues and how it relates to the OP and her husband. heading to morocco may or may not resolve that.
