  1. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/700143 Call a General Election I would like there to be another General Election. I believe the current Labour Government have gone back on the promises they laid out in the lead up to the last election. Sign this petition 544,099 signatures
  2. Ahh You immigrated to the US. Then went back downunder, married and now want to bring her. All I can suggest is Naturalise asap, spending time out could delay that.
  3. Usually spouses are beneficiaries and get a GC when the spouse does.
  4. Why did she not get a GC when you did?
  5. What do you mean gave up? You filed a I 407?
  6. I am not sure why it would not be, you probably want it to be subject to a US jurisdiction. And if it was not well I would have the cash.
  7. Must admit I never thought she did.
  8. I was just thinking how much I would want as a deposit of I was to sign such an agreement, $50k, $100k more? Plus of course a fee.
  9. I have only come across one person who got it before you.
  10. You can meet in Canada! She can try, plenty of people from VWP countries get denied Bs. I would wait until she has strong ties to Germany before applying.
  11. Well now we are talking about something I do know about. I have been umming and arring about getting a back up system, and I know many people who are off grid, mainly because it is cost prohibitive to connect to the grid. I am slightly out of date but last I remember they were charging $5k a pole, one guy I met in the Brewery was told he would have to have it trenched in, now that is serious money. So if you need say 10 poles do you pay $50k or install your own system? Anyway Tesla is a nice solution but there are others, and if you just go for the regular Batteries they are now down to 20c a Watt, New Solar Panels are around 50c a Watt and Inverters etc are coming down. When you have Costco selling systems well. When walking the pups yesterday I walked past a charging system, and there was a guy with a Ford Lightning charging up, he came up from Denver and forgot his charging cable and was probably OK to get back but decided to be safe. He very rarely uses the supercharges, just plugs it in overnight. Now he has the big battery option which I think it 150kw so a lot of energy. Friends who are off grid have a massive house and a system installed 20 years ago, I am sure they will upgrade their batteries next time they need replacing to LiPo, which will see them out. They have a back up Diesel Generator but seem to never use it, they do have wood stoves. I think bidirectional charging is a major step forward. This guy knows his stuff:
  12. I was in my local Wally World yesterday, they are starting people at $19 $19 x 40 x 50 = $38,000 Well above the requirements. Maybe they pay less in Florida but it would have to be SIGNIFICANTLY less not to meet the requirements.
  13. A job at Walmart would meet the requirements.
  14. I think I have more chance of winning the lottery than this happening
  15. Something that does not happen happens https://nypost.com/2024/11/20/us-news/venezuelan-migrant-with-links-to-tren-de-aragua-arrested-in-robbery-of-manhattan-prosecutor/ Venezuelan migrant with ties to Tren de Aragua grins after being arrested in lewd robbery of NYC prosecutor
  16. Well he has a massive majority, won 34% of the vote so it will be a knife in the back scenario, think Joe.
  17. Bureau of Indian Affairs needs a head. I can a think of an ideal candidate.
