  1. Well if he is the Father he may well hear from her, or her lawyer. She may not be interested in status or has plans to find a USC to marry.
  2. Presumably you have been living together for well over a year so will have lots of evidence.
  3. Impossible to say as AP is common at this Consulate
  4. That is not how it works, all I can suggest is you go on the web site of the State concerned and see what they require and compare that with what you will have.
  5. OCare varies by State, but it is not immediate you can apply as soon as you show State residency but there will be a lag. You are going to show you qualify, are a LPR, are State resident, not sure what you mean by flights?
  6. So you want to apply for VAWA based on a marriage that happened 23 years ago, and based on verbal abuse. Seems a very long shot. How did you enter the US?
  7. When I started the process a friend of mine had married and filed for his wife to immigrate to the UK, took him a month and he could have paid to expedite. For some reason I assumed it would be similar to come to the US. Wrong. The fees pay for the process. I would have thought most of it could be automated with the final check done in a few minutes but that is asking a lot, they could just employ more people?
  8. I see no harm in closing things with USCIS, they will not know unless you tell them, well they will find out if you continue. Usually a good idea to avoid potential misunderstandings
  9. It does not matter even in the worst case scenario it is under 6 months.
  10. I would imagine the Consulate will ask what happened. ESTA Have you ever stayed in the United States longer than the admission period granted to you by the U.S. government?
  11. No con, they may not officilally know but it will come out. That will be tricky, you could apply pretty cheap to do so but then you still have the PoE to get through. Yes
  12. They could but they can not deny you entry.
  13. Congree would need to be involved and I do not see that happening.
  14. It would be an IR1, I take it the I 130 has yet to be filed?
  15. They cant not let you in as a USC if that is the question.
  16. Hmm Not sure I know many people who would send their GF such large amounts. The I 212 got the deportation could be filed now, the bigger question would be whether she needs a I 601 see a possible misrep charge, but that you will not know until the interview.
  17. I have seen a few of these, I would assume the Officer has niot.
  18. I am not sure I have heard of USCIS requesting DNA. Could the lab supply a copy?
  19. You are on Page 21 of people visiting whilst being petitioned.
  20. To state the obvious you need to make sure you have your i's dotted and t's crossed
  21. I was just about to say 5he same thing, just much less eloquently You did mention expunged I trust there was nothing in this case that was expunged I also assume this has nothing to do with Afghanistan
  22. Vaccinations are not required of visitors or those who enter unconventionaly
  23. As is often said on here intent can change at baggage reclaim.
  24. Of course they can. Will need AP to travel.
