  1. They could of course just waive you in but yes turning up for a 6 month visit is likely to raise a few questions and to be honest if they then decide to question you further, well US BF, being made redundant, a few touristy places to visit (in 6 months?) Having said that when I came over I had a friend who was here on a B, he would disappear every 6 months, go back to the UK, visit friends in Australia and then he would be back. I was always surprised how he got in, a couple of times he was grilled but still made it though. Anyway the B expired and he know that if he applied for a new one they would take one look at his travel history and it would be a quick no. But he ran it for 10 years.
  2. There is a VERY long wait to get a visa appointment in Canada.
  3. His Father files an I 130 for him etc, presumably the Father can show he has been supporting him is he on the birth certificate?
  4. 3 months is not impossible maybe unlikely I think most people apply, a cost of adjusting
  5. So others can read it. US allows you to change your name as part of the naturalisation process, sounds like that was what happened in Canada
  6. Boiler

    for LGBTQ

I have never heard of this being required and for the life of me cant think why it would be needed.
  7. The last thing you want is a K3 approved, not that it is likely to happen.
  8. Hacking. who is very Immigrant Friendly, would describe this as out of the the Nigerian Playbook. I suppose theoretically it is not impossible.
  9. It seems it is automatic Every case I can think of they issue a RFE for a joint sponsor
  10. It is a choice, they system maybe inadvertantly produces the results it does. A comparison would be historicallth being fat was associated with the wealthy not the poor. Having a tan associate with the poor as they had to work outside. There are many such examples, just look at the education system.
  11. Pictured is the Concern charity office on Camden Street in Dublin. 400 people working for Concern Worldwide have been made redundant due to U.S. aid funding cuts and the Irish humanitarian organization expects that figure to rise. https://www.irishecho.com/2025/3/job-losses-at-concern
  12. I forget the prcise numbers but remember reading an article in the Guardian? about the increase in the unemployed numbers in Fermany an extra million? which seemed to be totally migrants. So it depends, certainly in the US a lot of the costs are split between different levels of government so for example there may be no sigificant cost at the Federal level but there is at the State or lower levels. Plus of course many other factors that are not directly economic.
  13. As money is tight I was also thing Wife first, well that makes more sense anyway. Looks like it is India.
  14. We are guessing at the interview time lines, I always thought Turkey was the longest? There is of course AP to consider.
  15. Alternate Documents: Venezuela legally recognizes registered de facto or common law marriages (“concubinato”). In order to register a de facto marriage the parties must present proof that they are free to do so. They must be either single or present proof that any previous legal or de facto marriages have been legally terminated. The couple must present two (or more) witnesses who can testify the couple is living together. Upon the act of registration of a de facto marriage the couple can recognize any children they have together. De facto marriages do not entitle the parties the same rights as a legal civil marriage.
